My father-in-law was taken to the ER after a car accident. When we got there, staff members were so kind and helpful. We appreciated their compassion during that stressful time. It meant so much to us.
This was without a doubt, the best hospital experience I have ever had! The staff members were extremely friendly and the nurses were absolutely amazing! They were very quick, allowing us get in & out. Definitely recommend and appreciate all that you do!
Don't go here for anything even as simple as an x-ray. I don't have enough fingers and toes for all the people that have had false negatives in the radiology department here greatly affecting their medical outcome. So if your family members are complaining don't take them here. Physical therapy is also horrible last time I was here cervical traction was done wrong. Lady wasn't even paying attention just looking around at everybody...really rough and painful, pulling really hard. Gangster attitudes. I quit going to Vincent Proy because he never listens, and put me down mentally, plus was wrong on a lot of things, but even he was like don't go to Corry hospital for blood work or anything!
I recently went to the Physical Therapy Department. I was having terrible pain and Perry and Jeremy helped me so much. They listened, and were very patient with me. They were the best! Thank you.! And Dawn, the receptionist, works hard to get you the appointment you need to accommodate your schedule. I recommend them !!!!
My wife had a colonoscopy at Corry Memorial Hospital. The facility was beautiful, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and her physician Dr. William Wismer was outstanding. Dr. Wismer took the time to answer all of our questions, and he and the surgical team there were so professional. The experience at Corry Memorial Hospital was exceptional in all areas.
It is hard to read the reviews I see on here, because my experiences have been the opposite with my family. My latest experience at Corry Hospital/Lecom was good, I was transported by ambulance after fainting at Walmart. I was treated very well by the ambulance crew and at the ER. The nurses were attentive, they did many tests to rule out anything serious, and would not discharge me until they were satisfied with the test results. When they released me they recommended I see my regular Doctor, which I did, at the Rural Health Clinic, Cheryl Mongera, where I went through more tests to be sure I was ok. After both visits I felt safe with the answers I received. Thank you to the staff of the Ambulance service besides overcharged, ER and the Rural Health Clinic.
The ER was Very attentive to my sick child. I have also had a few experiences in the oncology department with my family, and they were all so very helpful and comforting.
DO NOT COME HERE. If you can, go to Titusville or Erie. The nursing staff is very rude. I came here, and my cousin asked the nurse if they would recline his bed back while he was puking, and very sick, the nurse said she wasn’t going to do it until he said please. Like isn’t that your job lol? Then when I asked her to stop being rude, she caught an attitude with me and told me if i had a problem I could wait in the waiting room. Meanwhile, there’s people in the waiting room crying for help because nobody will take them to a room. This place is horrible an I really hope they get shut down or start doing better fr! I mean, this is a 2 star hospital Lol, with only bad reviews If your life is depending on it, GO TO TITUSVILLE.
Came here over going to wgh, didn’t want to drive all the way to erie. Got in the room and have been sitting here for 2 hours. No doctors or nurses have checked on me. Wouldn’t recommend coming here or to wgh.
The staff, doctors, and nurses were friendly and I did not have to wait long to be seen. I had a kidney stone and was given fluids and pain medication. Unfortunately, they missed the urinary tract infection and I ended up going into septic shock and spent several weeks in Meadville Medical Center.
