I have been coming here for a massage twice a month since 2014 and have never been disappointed! I enjoy completing the student evaluations and then getting the same student and noticing that they took my recommendations to heart. Every now and then we try some place else but we always return because of the professional way we are treated, the respectful draping, and the affordable prices. Give them a try you, you won't regret it!
I love everything about massage and Cortiva Institute delivers everything! I have been so BLESSED to find this school! It's so exciting to learn, every course is necessary, the faculty have genuine love and cares deeply for us students, and we're even able to get hands on teaching. I look forward to our clinic days on Thursday's and Friday's because the experience is very real! I have never been more excited and confident in an outcome of my own approach which was the decision of coming to the school! The opportunities for becoming a massage therapist to work in different settings and to specialize in the different modalities are absolutely endless! Truly amazing
Cortiva always has pleasant staff at the front desk and the student massage therapists are quality therapists. I have never been disappointed in a visit. This is a great way for the community to support students and receive a quality massage at an affordable rate. My goal is to go once a month for the next year or so as a part of my "self-care" plan.
I loved attending Cortiva my favorite teacher was Tim . Tim always taught us in a way that we could understand and always physically acting out things until we had a full understanding and never let us take a test without being prepared and having a clear understanding of the material. All the staff are super supportive and are always there for the students. I love the communication if something is wrong the entire staff communicate with one another to make sure that you are supported. I love this place and I would go back. Thanks to Cortiva I am a successful Massage Therapist.
I have had an incredible experience at Cortiva Institute during my time as a student. After being laid off from my graphic design job in early 2023, where I had spent almost 20 years in the industry, I made the decision to transition into massage therapy at Cortiva. As I progressed and developed a deeper passion for this field, I realized that my new craft offered a unique avenue for creativity and learning. I found it exhilarating to have a "product" that I could shape into a brand. The prospect of sharing my vision with the local community fills me with excitement. As graduation approaches, I've come to recognize that helping others has become one of the most fulfilling aspects of my life. I've come to believe that while introverts might shy away from talking in public, the power of touch can offer a profound means of communication. Allowing people to express themselves through touch is a beautiful way to connect and care for one another. I am immensely grateful for my time at Cortiva Institute and the transformative journey it has guided me through.
Choosing a school for massage therapy was hard for me at first due to being long distance, but I'm glad I decided to go with Cortiva. Not only do I feel educated in the art, but I felt like more than just a number. There were times I wanted to give up and because of life situations, I did. Thankfully, with the immense help and support I received from the staff, I was able to finish school and pursue a very rewarding career. I'm incredibly thankful to everyone that assisted me throughout my time with Cortiva and would encourage anyone interested in studying massage therapy to consider getting their education here.
This is the school I attended to get my massage license and it was a blast! The teachers were very knowledgeable and always available to answer questions. The anatomy classes with Dr. Todd were top notch! He made it easy to remember and really focused on making sure we knew the material to succeed after graduating. When I graduated I felt ready to pursue my goals knowing they had my back to help me. Even after graduating Bill makes sure I’m aware of any classes they offer for continuing education. It’s the total package. Allison is the reason I graduated she was always in my corner when I needed someone to listen to me. I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone looking to get into massage. Cortiva really changed my life.
Absolutely love this school and all the wonderful teachers and students in it who remind me every day why studying massage therapy is the right path for me. I've been interested in the field for so long, especially after getting into yoga and stretching in my 20s. Now in my 30s and halfway through the 7.5 month program, I feel great about the decision to study anatomy/physiology full time and very confident - because of the school's positive environment and awesome wide network across the local community wellness, sports, etc! - that I can soon start long and fulfilling career as a licensed massage therapist.
When considering switching careers and looking for places to maximize my opportunities, Cortiva Institute was an easy choice. This school created a learning environment that allowed me to explore my options in the field of massage with creativity and consistent nurturance. When I walked into class, my teachers were ready to share all they knew and saw me as more than a face in the crowd. I grew in confidence and competence, learned what it meant to trust myself, push myself to excellence and discovered I had so much more to offer the world than I ever thought myself capable of giving. Cortiva Institute remains a safe haven for it's students. Going back to visit periodically after my graduation ten years ago, the school has advanced and changed. However, their mission of student affirmation and dedication to building the path to success has never wavered. The staff and faculty have committed themselves to their students and go out of their way to help them achieve. Imparting strong test taking skills, the school not only prepares students for licensing but keeps the door open for continued success and discovery post graduation. Offering Continued Education, graduate resources and expert job placement, Cortiva stands apart from the crowd. I still meet clients who rave about the Student Clinic and other therapists they have met who graduated from Cortiva. If you are looking to take a big step in your career change, need a fresh start or simply wish to learn a new trade skill, Cortiva is an excellent choice.
I have been at CORTIVA since January and I’m getting close to graduating and I’m so thankful and grateful to be a massage therapy student. Coming here made me realize how important my passion is. The staff is amazing along with my classmates without them I don’t know where I would be. I feel so much love and appreciation from the school and 10/10 recommend!
