Just called to find out about delivery, very friendly. Will see how it goes tomorrow morning 5 for the call Next day: I got here and at 10:45 am they don’t take you because at 11:00 am they go to lunch. And don’t ask questions or somebody from management will come to you and will school you on how hard is the job of unloading so no more questions, because you might stress the unloading guys Broker told me delivery today, here they told me that delivery is for tomorrow, probably this is why they act so rude.
I had a great experience at Cosentino yesterday so I figured I would share. This was my first time in and I was met at the front door by a gentleman named Samuel. He gave me a tour of the facility and was eager to answer any questions that I had regarding countertops. Customer service is the most important part of any business and it shows when people put in the additional effort to make customers feel comfortable. Keep up the good work Samuel, we are looking forward to building a business relationship with Cosentino in the future. This facility is clean, organized, and has a nice showroom with a very large selection to choose from. Highly recommend this company
My son and I had an 11;00 appt We arrived at 10:55. We were met by an associate and were taken to the warehouse and were amazed at the selection of granite, quartz and quartzite. We found a beautiful slab. The associate was nice, showed us around and was not PUSHY. So far really good experience. Great place to find a wonderful selection of countertops. .
This place's receiving schedule is ridiculous! They don't start receiving till 8:30, first come first serve, so there's already a big long line of trucks waiting. Get real. This is 2018, you can do better. Get a shift that starts about 6. Of course all the trucks are going to be here first thing in the morning, we all have other things to do. If you are delivering here, plan on spending the better part of the morning. No surprise that Detroit, or most of Michigan for that matter, is in the shape it's in.
Very friendly people unloading a 30 minutes
Lowes sent me here to select granite slabs. Worst.customer.service.ever. Apparently the "gentleman" who helped me is not one of their regular customer service people and it showed because he was so terrible it was comical. First he told me that "no one buys the kind of granite I was interested in anymore" because "it's too busy and ugly". He was very reluctant to show me multiple slabs and tried to tell me that the warehouse had only a single set of sister slabs of star beach they had 3 sets. He did show them to me, but he didn't seem happy about it. He continually tried to sell me "popular" granite that I hated and whenever I did find something I liked it would turn out to have been tagged already as tagged slabs are not moved, just left with available ones. And that was nothing compared with the customer service I got once their product was installed in my home and found to have a camouflaged defect. ***** Cosentino does not stand behind its "warranty", which it turns out pretty much covers ONLY staining. 13 days following installation, a large fissure appeared across an entire slab that I had inspected specifically for fissures prior to selecting and after installation. After the fissure appeared, the fabricator blamed the supplier Cosentino. Cosentino blamed the fabricator as the fabricator had purchased the slab from them to display in their showroom. Cosentino told me that magically appearing fissures are a risk I accepted when I bought a natural stone product. So I began investigating. It turns out that there is a dirty little secret in the granite field called "quarry fill" in which a slab with a fissure is filled so unsuspecting consumers will buy it. Then, when it pops up - well, fissures are not covered by the warranty. This is like a car dealer finding a way to hide a dent in a car and then selling it as perfect. When the dent appears, the buyer is simply told that "sometimes cars have dents", sorry - that's not covered. So I called Cosentino corporation. They informed me that they sell a premium product and quarry fill is not a policy at Cosentino. I was advised to file a warranty claim. So I did. I was told that it would take 3 weeks to get a response, but just received one today - 8 weeks later. Frankly, I knew that since it had taken so long the answer was not in my favor. Sure enough, fissures aren't covered- even ones that were camouflaged. I have had several well respected granite repair people look at the slab. They indicated that the fill was done cheaply and when it opens a little more they can "repair it properly" and it will never come back. Of course, that will not be cheap. However, I am $6,000 into this granite, so what's a few hundred dollars more? This company does NOT stand behind its product. A "warranty" is a paper thin replacement for what most consumers believe is a "guarantee" in which a company guarantees that their product will perform as expected - not that defects will be hidden and the consumer shafted. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Cosentino never bothered to respond - as expected.
great warehouse, picked out my own slab of granite!
Horrible customer service and will not return calls. If someone answers they won't let you talk to the person you need. They tell you I will relay the info and still no call back. Only unloads 1 truck a day.
