Description

The Cosentino family opened our first store in 1948, located on Blue Ridge Boulevard in Kansas City, and has steadily grown to 27 store locations throughout the Kansas City metro area. Since our beginning, we have aspired to provide excellent customer service in an exceptionally clean environment.

This HyVee was very nice. It was clean. A staff member greeted us and asked if they could help and then took the time to show us the bakery items. The deli staff had more than one associate helping us get our selections and offered up until we said we were good. We purchased a variety of dinners with sides and bakery desserts for family just home from a hospital stay. It is nice the store has alot of variety. The meatloaf was a bit salty but I cannot fault them since that is a corporate selection.
Its kind of super store where you can find everything you need. Proce chopper contains various fruits, fresh vegetables, dairy products, books, dresses, snacks, fresh Meat, bread, pharmacy, flowers etc with chopped prices. The quality of the products is good. The staff here are quite friendly and helpful when needed. The ambience and maintenance of the place is good. The shelfs are arranged well and quite spacious to roam while checking for products. It is moderately crowded in weekdays and crowded in weekends.
Not welcoming experience when we were trying to count out our cash for our groceries and was given sighs and grunts from the cashier when we were only a DOLLAR short. After recounting we figured we just take an item out. But the cashier said “this is ridiculous” after I asked if there was any way we can get points from our price chopper card in and it was just attitude from there on. I never shop here but my grandma does but she doesn’t speak English so I didn’t know what their reward polices were.
I dint buy anything because I felt it's bit pricey compared to Walmart at my town in Arkansas. But the store was clean. Quick in and out. Store was open even after 10 and the location felt safe
Nice grocery store but prices are higher than others. The whole membership card thing is a pain for out of town customers.
This local store has items that I shop for and all quality brands at reasonable pricing. Plus, I just really like this store.
Bought smoke stack ribs take ribs and they had mold on them. The expiration date seemed correct but obviously not
Always a pleasure to shop here. If I can't find something, there's usually a friendly face to point me in the right direction. Their deli is super clean and always looks great.
The bakery lady did great she went and got me a loaf of bread because they were out on the shelf my question is why didn't she fill the shelf if they're out the bread expires on the 12th which is only in 4 days? The cashier did not know the price of the clean axis because they didn't bring up in the system and he had nobody to go check the price of the Queen axes so I had to go do it customer service is lacking here also he doesn't know how to bag food you don't put cans and containers in on fragile vegetables. The cart guy was very nice it came and got my cart.
We have lived here for 21 years and this is the last store I want to go to. It has completely gone down hill. I feel like I have stepped back into time. The cashier 's are rude, they look sloppy.. Thumbs down on this Price Chopper..
