I don't often write reviews but I feel compelled to talk of my experience at Cost Cutters. I had my hair cut by Jackie on June 2 of this year and if I could leave a negative star, I would. My hair is fine and has medium density. It's thicker in the back than on the sides. I have large ears that stick out and I depend on the hair to cover them. I explained to Jackie I had a function to attend and I wanted my hair shaped and trimmed, it was in a slightly layered bob when I went in. I can not tell you how badly she cut my hair but let me try. This did not feel like a haircut, it felt like an assault. She "thinned" the back of my hair, unevenly and incorrectly; I've had two hairdressers and a physician confirm this since. There were sheets of my hair falling to the floor. Then she took a razor to what was left. It was by far the WORST haircut I've ever had. My ears stick strait out, and it looked like I've had chemotherapy. It was beyond ridiculous and made me feel terrible, ugly and self-conscious for the event. She ruined my event and my summer. It is just now starting to grow unevenly back in, it's been almost 3 months. The amount of work it takes to make it presentable is overwhelming. I would upload pictures, which I have if management is interested, but I can't bear to post them on a public forum. Proceed with caution.
Worst $20 haircut of my life. Jana was the "stylist" that cut my hair. I asked for a simple medium fade in a military town. It looks like she shaved my head halfway up and forgot what she was doing. On top of the fade looking awful, it's the most jagged looking cut I've ever seen. I've seen dorm cuts look better.
My stylist was Laura. She did a beautiful job coloring and styling my hair. She took her time and was nice. She did exactly what I asked for. My blowout and flat iron style was one of the best I’ve ever had. It lasted 5 days. Highly recommend her or Jackie. I have been to Jackie in the past.Services: Haircut
With over an hour and fifteen minutes left - showing a 0 minute wait - they would not accommodate a walk in. One employee was giving a perm and was booked until closing - but the other one was simply sitting around on her cell phone. This was the one who stated that she would be unable to accommodate the walk in.

Gave her a pic of the cut I wanted. She ended up cutting it waaaay shorter than the pic. She said at the end she hoped it wasn't too short. I wasn't super excited with the length but it still seemed like a decent cut so i said it was fine plus we can't clue it back on, so.. Until I got home and really looked at it. The layers are very uneven. One side of my hair looks good and the other doesn't. Chunks of hair in layers and no blending. Just looks like big, uneven gaps. Service: Haircut
Workers are very nice and polite but they are ALWAYS put of products. I go in there every week and still, no products. I have been trying to get this same shampoo and leave in conditioner for 3 months and still, nothing. The shelves are always empty! It's not the workers faults. They get what is delivered to them. The bad part is, there is no way of ordering online. I have been having to use substitutes but that doesn't go well, especially when you have this one certain product that does really good on your hair. Why is there such a hold up on this? Why isn't it being delivered? Certainly there is something someone who works there can do to get the attention of the higher ups and tell them to please step up their game! This is ridiculous! So know I am still using substitutes and hoping for the best until the real products come in if they ever do. Certainly the company would not want to walk in and see their shelves empty all the time.

My son has crazy cowlicks on the back of his head and you can't cut it too short. This is the first place I've brought him to and they actually listened to me and his hair wasn't too short in the back. Will definitely come here from now on.
I don't post many reviews but after today, I felt it was necessary. I went it with a few friends and needed some layers for my hair so it could grow out nicely. She never once asked about length and by the time I realized what had happened, I had no time to react or tell her she cut it way too short. When I told her she responded with "Well, I like it". That's nice but it's not her hair it's mine. She took less than 10 minutes to chop off the hair that I had spent months on letting it grow out and then rushed us out the door. I spent 20 minutes in my car crying while my friends consoled me. She had no consideration or courtesy to what I requested and that's poor customer service. What's worse is that the first time I went in; a completely different stylist did the exact same thing to me. This stylist ignored my request and I went home with $25 less out of my pocket and upset that she basically rushed me out the door because she was tired and didn't want to take the time to make me a satisfied customer. I do not recommend this store and I certainly hope the managers listen and understand they need people who care about what the customer wants; my hair is the only thing I have control of and she basically took that away from me.
