There is no cleaner and no better organized warehouse store than Costco. Selection and prices are always great. Staff is always helpful and well informed. Store baked and prepared foods rival restaurants for quality and taste.
I really LIKE Costco but I'd LOVE COSTCO if they had a store map IN THE STORE! Most people especially seniors don't want to look online for the store map. In my opinion I believe they don't have a map in the store of the layout so people will spend MORE time walking around shopping. As you're trying to find what you're looking for you're bound to find many other things to buy that wasn't on your shopping list. SPEND SPEND SPEND is the goal of any store including.
Love to buy stuff in Costco. Everything is of good quality and much better prices. This location has a gas station, tire center, pharmacy and optical center too. I must recommend the tire center! My husband had his car’s tires changed from Costco Tire Center quite some time ago. Then one day he got a flat tire and another with nails in. I drove the car to have the tires fixed but was told that they were not reparable. So they had to replace both tires. To my surprise, they were still within warranty and I had to pay not quite even 1/3 for the replacements!
I visited this location on a Sunday when Philly needed to grab bottles of water. I knew other nearby Philly Costco would be out because most likely people all go there, so I decided to hit this location to try my lucky instead. Luckily when I got there, plenty of water available. After 10mins later, I see a line and empty aisle. I was also lucky to grab the Costco tumbler that tell you the temperature on the top of the cap. Service here was just like other locations, but here had people directing you and even a staff scanning for you at self check out to speed up the cashier line as there were a long line behind us.
I went to Costco b/c I wanted to give up my Sam's club membership but Costco is higher than Sam's club & a longer drive from my home. For the price they charge for a membership you would think the prices would be a lot cheaper but there not. See photos & compare yourself!!! I won't return.
My wife and I were impressed by the variety of products that this club store offers. I also checked a number of items against Amazon and found I will save several dollars buying from COSTCO. Of course, since we do not have any children to feed, buying most of the meat and produce items would be ridiculous due to the fact we do not have a giant fridge or freezer. But there are many jar and canned items along with non-grocery items that would make sense for us to buy. For instance, I can save several dollars by purchasing my OTC allergy medications rather than buying from Amazon or Target. So after walking up and down every aisle we decided to join the club. Of course the new member associate tries very, very, very hard to sell you on the idea of buying the Executive Membership @ $120 it saves you an extra 2% on each purchase. If you do decide to buy this level of members you can get the downgrade before the end of the membership year running June to June and get the $60 difference in the Basic & Executive levels refunded. My wife and I also save $30 refunded as a gift card in 4 - 6 weeks because we had an offer received in the mail that provided this extra savings benefit. COSTCO also has its own pharmacy, prescription lenses and frames shop, car tire shop, discounted gas station selling top-tier gasoline and EV charging service along with extra value items online as well as travel and many other services. They even have their own in-store quick service snack shop if you’re starving after spending 2 hours roaming the aisles. So I’m going to keep a spreadsheet, tracking each purchase so that I can determine whether it was truly worth joining this club, especially at the Executive Membership level. It certainly was an experience. Of course you are going to have to allow extra time when shopping in a warehouse type of store like COSTCO.
I went to self check out before I could scan my things an employee came and scanned my things for me. When I was exiting it turns out the employee didn't scan something. I had to go back and was paraded like a shoplifter. I never wanted someone to scan my things. This experience pissed me off because I never missed scanning anything on my own and to have an employee forcibly scan my things just so you guys can look at me like a shoplifter was a horrible experience. Next time if I choose to use self check out dont touch my cart.
1st time here. My daughter and I became members today, and OMG! My money is gone and I'm not mad. The employees, Terri the soup lady, James the bakery guy, and the lady who worked the self checkout lanes on Saturday night were extremely friendly and helpful. They made us happy for becoming members.
Very Clean shopping experience and the pre-made dinners taste great. They always have great clothes options. We love stopping and getting pizza and churos on the way out. Here's what I have an issue with. They check your membership card at the door, they check your membership when you get into a line, they check your membership when you check out and then they check your receipt at the door like you are a potential thief. At what point can you get past all those checks and on top of that they empty your cart at the register to be able to steal something. It easily the worst feeling and holds you up from actually leaving the building because of unnecessary lines. The managers that stand at the desk behind the checkout don't have the best of attitudes when you have a question either.
Let me first say, The warehouse and shopping selection is perfect. There is nothing wrong with Costco but an employee made me very less likely to go there. My first impression of Chadira was when I was trying to verify my membership. I walked up with a smile and she greeted me with a sneer look. Every sentence I would say or thing I would try to explain she would have a nasty comment or reply. “If you would read the terms of service you would’ve known that,” with a sarcastic tone and look. This process should have taken 5 minutes as I was just trying to verify my membership but took way longer due to her remarks and body language. I understand you may not like your job but there is no need to take it out on customers.
