Costco

Before I bought a membership I looked at the reviews and was very scared if I’m being honest. The recent reviews all talked about rude staff. Against my better judgement I bought the $60 a year membership and told myself anything is worth at least one try. I have NEVER been in a Costco or any please that requires a membership to shop so I was very scared I would mess something up. When I arrived a lady at the door told me where to go to get my card and was so sweet about everything. The young lady who helped me get my card told me about the amazing perks of the best membership that would be great for me so I upgraded. She was very sweet and very helpful. Being my first time in the store I was overwhelmed and spent way more than I should have. When I went to checkout I had no clue what to do but the cashier helped me and even told me to go through the app next time so I know what to get to help with the overwhelming feeling. She was very polite and helpful. Overall this place was amazing and the staff was super helpful and sweet to a first time shopper!

Fantastic collection of constantly rotating stock. Unbelievable buys on Eddie Bauer clothes. Bulk item shopping so we often avoid some items - just too big. But best place to shop when having a party. Only Visa card or cash are accepted here. Best place to buy rotisserie chicken - huge bird at $5 - always!! Never dry. Went with a friend and ended up buying a membership. $60/year and have definitely gotten that back in savings. Purchased new hearing aids at a fraction of the cost of set purchased at the audiologist 5 years ago and same quality. Can return almost anything except electronics no questions asked. It's our new favorite place to go.

Clean, efficient way to shop. Able to taste test products before you buy. Don't let the crowd scare you away. They move you through the store and checkout lanes very efficiently.

Clean store and very friendly staff. I really enjoy shopping here. Definitely pick what time you're going wisely, just like any store it can get very very busy and overwhelming.

On my last visit to Costco Perrysburg we tried the Roast Beef Sandwich. The bread was cold. Ask if they could warm it and was told no. The other food in the food court is served warm. The Roast beef in the sandwich was lacking. only 3-4 slices of beef in the sandwich. Expected more for $9.99 from Costco.

My wife was just interrogated tonight in the Perrysburg Costco for using my membership ID instead of hers. On top of that, we were charged $184.88 for a package of ground beef. She was so flustered after the interrogation that she did not catch this. Mind you she also had our 18 month old daughter with her. Now we have to drive 30 minutes back to the store to prove to them that the beef was incorrectly charged and they close in 7 minutes.

The consistent interrogation over my i.d and Costco card 3x and then being told I need to show my receipt again after i already had it checked once with a smiley face on it because he "needed to double check it" is a bit ridiculous. Yet the people ahead of me nor after me didn't need to show I.d or membership.

No patience for the elderly in the signup process. Took the in-laws to gift them a card as they mentioned wanting one. I wish I could say I took my eyes off the woman speaking to look at her name tag, but she was talking so fast it was hard for me to keep up, let alone them. We simply wanted to sign them up. When we purchased a gift card we made sure customer service had their name, address, and number so they could come in anytime to get their pictures taken. The woman helping us had very heavy eyebrows I wish I got her name, told us we did not give any info, and seemed irritated that we did not do it online before coming to the store; again, we thought we had the name and info part handled, but apparently once isn't enough. I've NEVER had bad experience at customer service, and really hope this was a one-time experience. This woman was NOT pleasant. I'll remember those eye brows and ask for a different customer service rep next time. Thank you.

Decent location with lots of parking and Costco gas station on site.

The warehouse is always stocked up and always in order. The staff is helpful and cheerful. They have regular offers on clothes and other sections. Before the COVID restrictions they had loads of samples being given away on the weekends. The gasoline is always cheaper than other outlets and serves as a reason for frequent visits.
