Definitely be careful about the actual price during checkout to avoid surprises. On top of that, one of the supervisor was very rude and condescending. I ran into a product being mislabeled wrong item and price. See pic below. The actual checkout price was much higher than the tag displayed on the shelf. I assumed it was an honest mistake of the label, and brought it to the attention to a staff. He was fine, acknowledged the label being wrong and inconsistent with the checkout price, and he brought in the supervisor in order to find out the right price/tag for the item. The supervisor turned out to be extremely rude. Immediately assumed I was trying to claim the lower price, which I assured him that’s not the case. I explained that I just want to find out what the right price is. He also insisted the right price tag was there, and immediately started lecturing: “you need to look carefully next time”, which can easily be disputed with the picture I took about the wrong tag. The earlier staff also didn’t point out any other tag there the first time he verified. Throughout this exchange, he demonstrated extremely negative and condescending tones, super defensive, and blame the whole thing on me not reading the right tag, even after i showed him the picture proving the wrong tag being on the wrong item. It all started with a very minor and innocent action to ask the staff to correct the tag to avoid confusion for other customer like me, and turned into a series of very unpleasant accusations and lecturing.
First time visiting a Costco in America and I can confirm they’re 1000 times better than the ones in Vancouver, Canada. Tons of alcohol choices + the food court has chicken bake. I’ll definitely be back to pick up some items before my trip back home.
Nothing to complain about. A typical, well run Costco with efficient service, well stocked shelves and fair prices. Jewelry, electronics, basic clothing, household items, and plenty of food. Parking can be tough because the store is always crowded. Nowhere to sit except patio furniture area. Bathrooms are clean.
As some other customer experienced, this warehouse is very very poorly managed with very terrible employee culture. I've visited Costco across the country and no other warehouse behave like this. I was prompt by an error at the self-checkout counter preventing me from checking out. Asked two staff for help. This could be a simple task by swiping the staff card and confirm for continue checkout. But both of them just looked at the machine and walked away without reacting or even explaining. Left me and my wife alone. I asked again and the lady turn back and gave my wife a dirty look I have no choice but change a machine to start over. The lady who walked away immediately ran back and try to push my cart back to the broken machine. After checkout. I try to brought it up to her manager. Surprisingly, he replied with a very condescending tone and ask me to be polite to employee. No apologize at all. Two days later, another warehouse manager called me up inform me that my membership was revoked by the store. So disappointed by this warehouse which damaged the overall great impression I have for Costco for years. Closed all my account with them. Saying hi to Sam's club.
This is specifically about their new roast beef sandwich. In short: I would not buy it again. Short on meat, dressings in blobs, but the bread is good. See the photos and decide for yourself.
The place is clean, has some high-quality products, and fun to shop. It is always busy. Therefore, service people get a bit arrogant. Used to be more friendly and helpful. They often send you to the wrong aisle for a certain product. A lot of service agents talk to each other instead of answering customer concerns, and you have to stand there and wait for them to finish up their conversation.
Besides bargain prices got some great quality fruits. Better than local grocery chains . The blueberries were superb as were the mangoes and peaches. While the place was crowded check out lines were well managed and quick. The staff was very cooperative to help find items
Costcos tend to be pretty consistent. This is no exception: friendly staff, well-organized, high quality, and clean. Docking a point because there’s no food court seating at this location.
I visit Costco with purchase intent, and stay to shop for “incidentals.” It most often is an hour-long visit; a great place for tastings, and burning off the calories by attaining “steps.”
Thirty pairs of socks and thirty pairs of underwear. When I was a student, I did laundry once a month. Four loads in four washer at once at the laundromat at 9 pm and did my homework. Today, Costco has ten for a $10 No Show Fit Sock. Black hides stain better than whites. The socks are unmarked pair. All loose unpaired socks are in the drawer and each comes out in perfectly matching pair. - 7.01.2023
