This an amazing RV Park. Disregard older reviews because they have new owners since they first opened. The community is welcoming and kind. The landscape is beautiful and it's pretty quiet. The grounds team, especially Larry and Lee, are the nicest people you'll ever meet. My family and I will be coming here whenever we're back in town.
If you enjoy barking dogs and I'm not referring to the animal shelter next door, random gun shots, and walking on glass, this is the place for you. The elderly owners refuse to put a leash on their manager, so he goes around barking and biting whenever the mood strikes. It's run more like boot camp, except you get to pay for the abuse. I gave it 1 star because the setting is pretty and the other campers are nice but some of them also feel traumatized by management and trapped due to the large porches they've built and sheds they bought. Bottom line is, there are other beautiful, peaceful properties in the area for the same price. I recommend you pass on this one.
The stay was ok I think 50.00 a night was HIGH due to the fact there is literally nothing to do at the campground no amenities at all there was only 1 place to take a shower so wasn’t impressed with that I do have a shower in our camper but I shouldn’t have to use it it was definitely a quiet campground I also liked the fact they had grills you could borrow and plenty of wood to use for a fire I enjoyed the scenery around the campground the small town shopping!!!! Will I stay there again no !!!!
Really pretty setting. Very dog friendly. Spacious lots. Check in was fast and pleasant. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the dog shelter across the way with lots of barking. I want to bring them all here with me
Well the pictures on the website are a bit deceiving...it shows beautiful wooded sites. We came for a month and the site we are in is very exposed, not secluded by any means, windy, no big trees and is extremely slopy. A disappointment! And I didn't mention the kennel near by with constant barking
A great place to get away from the city and enjoy the stars. The park is dog friendly and offers 2 miles of hiking trails to explore. Located within a short drive to Austin or San Antonio, the park is perfect mixture of city and small town living. The management is very responsive and caring and live on-site. They go above and beyond normal camp hosts to ensure long term and short term rv'ers experience is welcoming and memorable.
A great rv park with wonder managers!! We will definitely keep this one on our list if we are back in the area!!
This RV park is perfect if you are looking for a quiet Hill Country park to relax and unwind. I have lived here for 3 months and have absolutely no complaints. The Managers are amazing and very attentive to any needs that the park guests may have, The park is super clean, private and situated along a rural ranch road about 9 minutes from Dripping Springs Texas. The park has a wonderful walking trail that stretches for at least 20 acres and the park is private, peaceful and very enjoyable. This park is designed for those looking for a quiet stay with access to the Hill Country. There is a clean laundry room, clean restroom facility and free internet. There is no cable television offered so a dish is a must if you desire more than local channels. Cell service can be spotty but that's completely normal for the Hill Country. The sites are level and generally separated by ample space and trees abound throughout the park to offer shade form the hot Texas sun. The residents of the park are both short and long term. The long term residents are retirees or professionals who work in the area. This is not the park for you if you are looking for late night parties and noisy neighbors. By dark every night, the park is peaceful and super quiet. The park is very pet friendly and dog owners are very attentive to leash rules and picking up after their pets. I have stayed at many parks in Texas and can tell you that this park is at the top of my list for privacy, peacefulness and a safe secure feeling. The onsite Managers have made this park a joy to live here. If you are looking for a one night stop or a winter hideaway, this is your park.
Great park if you are passing through or just there a couple of months or less. Due to our work we at times park for as short as a couple of weeks or up to a year depending on the project. We were here for a little over a year. The long term residents in general are a nice bunch of people, and with any place you go there are a few bad apples. The only problem here is the bad apples have the Manger's ear and cause unnecessary drama with a good amount of gossip and deceit. It was so bad we watched as the management harassed and bullied a single mildly disabled woman for no real reason other then one of their friends in the park did not like her. While the remaining residents did nothing - for fear they could be targeted next I am sure. When we stepped in for her defense we too were then treated harshly we were leaving anyway The woman had not broken a single park rule. My only advise if you park here do not get on the two Manager's Larry & Lee bad side, or the bad side of one of their "special" residents/friends.
very clean, quite park everyone was very nice. full hook up was very nice; and the parks shower facilities were big and clean. You must take the hike around the back of the park we were able to see wildlife and several whimsical things placed on the path that would be great for a scavenger hunt. The park was a few miles outside of dripping springs.
