Cottonwood Fire Rescue proudly serves the citizens of Cottonwood ,Alabama and surrounding communities with excellent Fire and EMS services.
Cottonwood Fire Rescue operates with three pumpers, a tanker, and a rescue/brush truck. We respond to structure,woods, brush, and fire alarms and other type fires. We are equipped with vehicle extrication equipment to extricate injured patients out of most any vehicles. We have BLS ems equipped operated by several NREMT Basic EMTs on the department that respond to medical calls and assist the local rescue squad on calls. All members are BLS CPR trained. The department has a 3,000 tanker that goes to all structure fires and mutual aid if water is needed, the tanker is equipped with a dump tank that holds 3,000 water that can bet set up in minuets at a scene if needed. We train on regular a regular basis on multiple topics to stay up to date with the fire service that constantly is changing.
