I used to love this place and have dined here often with my family, friends, etc..last visit with my son for lunch will likely be my last. Flies everywhere and my son had a chicken bone in his chicken shell soup. Waitress was super nice, no complaints there.Food: 3/5
Pure diner experience. While other diners in the area shaved their menus over the past couple years, Country House absolutely did not. Though I've driven by a thousand times, this is the first time I've ever been here. With a loud smoke eater humming above me, I'd think it was the 90's again.Food: 5/5
food was good, came out quickly. a good in and out diner, no frills. the price was great. but that's just how I like it, quiet and simple. I had the surf and turf and it was really good, my kid had a HUGE plate of spaghetti and sausage since their kids menu stops at 5yowhat's up with that? she's 10 she's not going to eat a full sized meal, but hey there was leftovers. my mother in law had a steak which she enjoyed. Overall we choose this place over the "other guy in Woodbury" don't want to throw names out but this is our new go to diner.
I was pleasantly suprised at how good my Italian chicken sandwich was. I would definitely order it again. The fries though weren't so great. Maybe order a side salad next time. Service and atmosphere were OK. Decent place to stop for a bit to eat.Food: 4/5
Love the atmosphere. Everyone’s so welcoming. You can tell they get a lot of locals so everyone’s very comfortable, lots of laughter and of course good food. Restrooms were clean. Servicing was good. Overall great visit.Food: 4/5
Went here for breakfast , it’s a cozy little spot ! Friendly staff & VERY fast service , waited less than 10 mins for my food , I usually get the belly buster omelet or cream chipped beef & it is delicious every time !
This place is a diner without the word diner in its name. Had an opportunity to attend a weekend basketball tournament and in between games we were able to break for lunch. This place brings back memories ---the staff was friendly and the food gets the job done. Don't expect too much but you'll be satisfied with the experience. Give this place a try. $$
Too many FLIES...came for breakfast on Sept 22nd. I counted 10 flies while sitting after I ordered my meal. Flies all on the plastic protect that placed for covid. I was swatting flies off my head and my partners. Came to a point I had to cancel my order. I told the waitress it's to many flies I can't eat here. I left her $2 for her service.
The cheese omelet, cooked well done as I ordered it, home fries with sauteed onion, and coffee all good. It took about 10 minutes to get our food, but it was lunchtime, so I attributed it to that. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps to enter. Easy access.
It was pretty good. Nothing amazing. I got a chicken wrap and my husband got the salmon salad. I would come here again and try a few other things before judging the whole menu
