We stayed two nights in August Sat/Sun as we were passing through, on a road trip. We wanted a full hook up, but they only had water/electric. The office people were not very warm / welcoming, and they seemed to want to get everyone out of the office really fast. We later saw that there were some activities at the campground on the nights we were there we saw everyone going to the rec area, but no one at the office had told us about anything. It seems this campground is run with only the seasonal / permanent people in mind. The campground is built on a steep hill with facilities rec room, bathrooms/showers, office, pool and many sites at the top of the hill, with a few sites at the bottom of the hill. Pros: The grounds are pretty and well kept up. The pool is clean and there are shady places to sit around the pool in addition to a small pavilion at the pool, which you can sit in to watch your children in complete shade. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are clean and very nice. Lots of things for kids and families to do. The laundry room is clean with everything you need. The dog park is large and shady. There are lots of TV channels with antenna. The WIFI is solid. Con: If you are in a site in the lower part of the campground down the hill, you really don’t feel part of the campground at all. You have to walk up a steep hill to get anywhere or do anything showers, bathrooms, pool, rec hall, store. The sites at the top of the hill are close to all activities Sites 25-71 and Pull Through sites 1-8. We could have done without climbing a steep hill in the August heat to use the facilities. It also should be noted that some of the sites in the lower part of the campground have no sewer hookups. This is a nice campground, but it wasn’t for us mostly because it was built on a steep hill.
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was a wonderful experience. The campground was very clean. Everyone was super friendly. Great location for fishing. The only downside was the pool. It was overcrowded and a bit small. Otherwise- it’s a great place to camp and we will definitely return!!!Rooms: 5/5
Very unlevel campsite. #7 muddy. Posting for my son that used my RV. Rip off reservation fee in our opinion. Could see charging reservation fee if you to be no show, Game room not able to use. all games shoved to one area and pool table not usable, Mini golf falling apart. Plus at these prices all spots should darn close to level and at least all the roads paved.
Very clean and well kept, nice place for families! Friendly campers! Staff was great.Rooms: 5/5
What a fun campground. After two days in a tent I had some serious camper FOMO. The owner was polite enough to show me the camper rentals they offer and even offered up advice in terms of purchasing one.My friends and I enjoyed the pool and were pleasantly surprised how polite the guests were in terms of adult swim hour. You could see a camaraderie among what I must assume are seasonal campers. My friends and I will be back for sure. Price point Cleanliness Staff
Super cool campground especially if you have children with you.Location: 5/5
Absolutely amazing weekend camping trip at this awesome campground. They had last minute reservations open which is super hard to come by. The grounds were nice, there were hiking trails alongside the beautiful lake. They had fun things to do like a miniature mining/panning area, arcade/rec room, giant checkers board, goats and other great activities kids of all ages would love. They also had brand new bathroom and shower areas. The lady in charge of the camp ground was super sweet and very helpful. They also have a mini store/office that had a lot of different items you could need. I will be for sure going back next camping season.
Awesome campground , my girlfriend and i enjoyed our stay from start to finish . Easy location, easy maneuvering to the office to check in which only took 30 seconds. The front desk worker was very polite, she helped with a map and showed me where to go to my site. Site was a little small but nice and level gravel parking for my camper & truck, 30amp service had no hiccups. Pool & restrooms very clean. Loved our stay and will absolutely return.
We spent 10 days here and was a little disappointed. I saw no restrooms, only Porta potties, did not see a mini golf course and the pool was so small that it was often over crowded. I don't understand why there is a huge dog park if only one dog is allowed in at a time. The guy came around Thursday to cut the grass ans we moved our things because I wanted the grass cut, when he was done it didn't even look like it was cut. The store was closed at 5pm so we couldn't even get ice or propane. The people fly thru on their golfcarts, especially a guy in a blue cart. Needless to say we won't be back.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and there are a lot of amenities to keep entertained. I especially appreciated the bark park, laundry room and propane refilling station. The wifi can be a little spotty but its decent most of the time. All in all, really nice campground.
