Countryside is a not for profit independent school, located in South Bend, Indiana. We strive to provide a beautiful environment, a challenging program, and a supportive school community to serve children from 3 to 6 years of age.
Countryside Montessori School is dedicated to the Montessori philosophy and method of education. Through this individualized educational program, Countryside Montessori guides children in patterns of inner discipline, concentration, task completion, and good citizenship, thereby enabling them to grow in self-confidence and moral awareness, and to reach full potential within the human community. Countryside Montessori is a learning community focusing on a sensory-based curriculum. The program provides for concept, skill, and process opportunities which will later facilitate the independent progress of each child, recognizing individual rates of development along a path of self-motivation and discovery. Countryside Montessori encourages the participation of children from different nations, cultures, and races.
