It's an easy place to find, they have all kinds of material,it's a true hardware store. if the don't have it they'll find it,, very friendly, helpful. That's where I go to get my fencing material .thanks u Guy's.
A great hardware and lumber store in a very well needed location. I have never stopped and not found what I needed. Prices are very fare, sometimes less than the big box stores. They have special one of a kind plumbing and electrical fittings that I have never seen at any other store.... and I have been in the contracting business for over 50 years. Just what I needed to get out of a tight spot! Lots of tools and supplies.... plus great expert help, with freindly staff. All older employees with years of experience.
Since I was a kid I've been going to countrywide actually I worked there for a summer and the men I worked with are great and they know what they're doing that's why they've been in business all these years even through covid lets you know the story about countrywide is one of a kind building material store countrywide on the west side of Fresno good people good men
I've used this store for years, however today I was so disappointed when I called to get an estimate to replace a window glass and the Hispanic man who answered the phone, was so rude and condescending. He assumed because I was female I had no clue what I wanted or needed. I know that the majority of the staff that work for Countrywide are very courteous and professional. Very disappointed.
This place has alway been one of my local favorites. I have to say this place and Orchards hardware store are/were the best for diy materials and questions. These dudes knew what they were selling you and could explain affordable material verse more costly material.
This place is a good old fashion styled hardware store. Reminds me alot of Fresno Ag & National Hardware. Always helpful & friendly. Been coming here since i was a kid.
Great customer service. Its in a bad location but its needed there for sure.
