After my units flooded 2xs in 3 weeks , the first one was in July and got 7 " and I wasnt notified until the day after I found it. They called when I was on my way up with paid help to try and save all of my valuables. Then on Aug 3rd they were completely under water. When I spoke with them in July about the issue they said it was State Highway fault , a pipe broke under the road, and that they told me to get renters insurance when I got them. Well its not a flood areanever has in my 55 yrs of life and grew up a mile from there so renters insurance dosent cover floods!! They have not offered a free month or anything, I was not even comtacted at all after the 2nd flood. State highway said they have investigated the area and there is no broken pipe?? So I have lost over $4,000.00 in furniture, electronics etc. And I have had other issues with the units ceiling falling in or about to and told them many times about the issue and I ended up moving my stuff to another unit because they would not repair the ceiling. I cant find any other storage units in my local area that have openings closest place is 30 mins away and I got to my units at least 2 times a week because I store furniture that I purchased and have restored or repaired to resell them and I meet clients there.
