My daughter has been dancing here at this studio for nine years. We absolutely love it. She has always had very nurturing teachers and has made lifelong friendships. I felt compelled to post In response to a previous review; I work full time and I am a single mom and my daughter has never been treated unfairly as a result. Coupe has taken her ballet training to the next level and she has been invited to attend The School of American Ballet’s Junior Summer program for the last two years- Thanks to Coupe.
We have had our daughters attend Coupe for the last 16 years. Both girls have come away from their time there as wonderful dancers and have also developed discipline, self-respect, respect for others and self-confidence as a result of their hard work and the amazing instructors at Coupe. We appreciate the time and effort that Coupe's very caring and professional owners and instructors put in with each of our daughters, and believe it is a wonderful place for a child to learn dance, make friends, and to grow up!
My daughter has been taking dance at Coupe since the age of three. She is now 12 and has developed so many amazing dance skills. The teachers and staff are wonderful and care so much about the students. We are very proud to be part of the Coupe family.
My daughter Aibhlinn would live at Coupé if she could! She absolutely loves all her teachers and said they are comparable to the teaching techniques used at School of American Ballet!! As parents, we have found the teachers to be very professional, they work with each child individually, giving them constructive criticism and building up their confidence in their abilities! We feel very fortunate to have this amazing school in our area!
This is the place to go for excellent dance training! The teachers and staff are professional and caring. Many of the teachers are former ballerinas, Broadway performers, or Rockettes. Classes start at age 3. My three daughters have danced at Coupe from age 3 to age 18! Highly recommend.
Our daughter has been dancing at Coupé Theatre Studio since she was almost 3 years old. Throughout her time at Coupé she has had outstanding professional, talented, and expert-level instructors! The teachers at Coupé have helped to grow and train her to become a responsible and committed dancer. She now dances seven days a week, and while it is a large commitment for our family, it is well worth it. Our dancer is blossoming in eight different classes, and competing with the Rockland Competitive Team, as well. The families, dancers, administration, and owners at Coupé are like our extended family, too. I can’t thank Coupé enough for being such an important force in our daughter’s development. She has learned that hard work pays off, that practice always makes you better, that there is no goal that is unattainable if you want it badly enough, and that everybody around you deserves to be raised up and celebrated for their efforts too. One last thing: the RYDE Nutcracker production is TOP NOTCH—it’s not just a dance recital, it’s a tradition not to be missed. Highly recommend!
As a retired professional dancer, there is no other school in the area that I would trust a dance or theater education to. Not only is the craft of dance taught at an exceptional level by industry professionals, but love of dance and theater is nurtured with care and positivity. Coupe is a gem nestled in Nanuet, NY.
We have had a wonderful experience at Coupe. The teachers are knowledgeable and create a nurturing environment. The front desk staff are helpful and courteous.
I love this place. My daughter has been here since age 4. All the instructors are highly qualified. All if the instructors are supportive of children's desire to sing and dance. The nutcracker is wonderful. The musical showcases are something I look forward to. Tickets are on sale for a chorus line.
Snooty. Always seemed like a money grab. Favoritism based on parent participation and volunteering as well as relations to owner. Some parents have full time jobs and children should not be held accountable for that. Save your money and go somewhere where they will care about your child equally.
