I stay at courtyards all up and down the Pacific Northwest. They are my favorite hotel because they are always quite the football game is normally on and they have a little bistro the serves drinks and decent food. When you’ve been traveling all day and don’t want to go anywhere it’s great for that. Let me tell you though. The employees that run this bistro need there own award. This guy Pete is holding it down. Constantly moving around taking orders, cooking food making drinks, cleaning up all while maintaining this serene politeness about him. Honestly the place is good. Employees like Pete make them great.
Exceptional service, well appropriated and clean rooms, and a nice range of quality food options! The Medford Courtyard is an outstanding hotel. With each interaction, I was greeted by caring professionals who value service above all. This caring culture has permeated the entire staff and is obviously a tribute to the general manager, leadership, and to the wonderful employees. The reputation of the Courtyard Brand of Marriott hotels often suffers from a vast variance in quality. But this hotel takes what it is, and provides a truly excellent experience. It is clean, safe and within walking distance to the airlines. Well done! Rooms: Very clean and everything one needs to conduct business. Also, huge TV screen - make sure you bring an HDMI cable to hook into your computer to stream videos on the big screen. Walkability: A couple of minutes walk to the airlines. Food & drinks: The menu has many options, especially for the health conscience. But if you like semi or non-healthy, all the options are very well made and are fresh. Also, as a frequent traveler, I tire of the typical breakfast buffet which suffers from greasy bacon, fake eggs, and the like. The options here are excellent - try the avocado toast, with hard boiled eggs and arugula salad.
The cafe is really good. The girls in the morning cooked our breakfast to perfection. And are super friendly. Even ol grumpy at night is surprisingly friendly. And funny. The rooms are nice. *** The ice machine needs to be fixed, or at least a out of order sign on it. On the second floor. ***
Great room, clean and very comfortable. It was right next to the airport as I had an early flight. Outside in the parking lot, you could really hear the planes. But in my room? Not a thing! Completely soundproof. Will definitely stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
Great stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Very close to the airport walking distance. They have a shuttle that will take you to the local stores. Staff is friendly and very helpful.Rooms: 4/5
The rooms were big and clean. Great hotel stay. The front desk Supervisor at night was great. Super nice. Very professional. So heed my warning do NOT eat at the bistro. Took an hour and a half to get coffee then the breakfast came another half hour later. French toast was cold and had to have them re heat. Another guy was sitting there waiting the same amount of time and complained his were cold too. Stear clear of the bistro. Otherwise great.
Solid airport Marriott property, no real issues, I would say it's probably due for a little bit of an update for the interiors of the rooms. They also had a fire alarm drill while I was there which was kind of weird but kind of fun at the same time. Decent location especially if you're flying outRooms: 4/5
Worst Courtyard I've ever stayed in. Hard beds, peeling bathtub & a difficult to run thermostat. They just re-painted and tiled over an old place. Breakfast is NOT included. The beds are like sleeping on a slab of granite.Rooms: 3/5
