We had a fabulous stay at Courtyard, the rooms were stylishly and neatly appointed and very clean. The furnishings were excellent and felt luxe especially for the price point. Levi was fantastic at reception, making us feel welcome, ensuring we had a great stay, and providing a really smooth and efficient check-in/out experience. Breakfast was lovely, and all the staff we spoke to couldn't have been more helpful. Great location in the city with lovely views, we will absolutely be back!
I recently stayed at this hotel in Melbourne with my family and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable from start to finish. Special thanks to Kishor, Rooms division manager who was friendly and kind, with an extensive local knowledge. The hotel was family-friendly and our stay was pleasant and comfortable. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling with their loved ones.
Room was not cleaned when we returned in the late afternoon. According to the hotel, they will only clean the rooms in the EVENING if they were fully booked. We were also told by hotel staff that the rooms will NOT be cleaned unless requested. They made it sound like a matter of fact Not exactly something you will normally hear from a reputable hotel. Overall NOT RECOMMENDED based on what was experienced. U can get better alternatives elsewhere.
The staff listen to our needs earnestly and try their best to help us. They are really helpful and sincere. Well, the elevator is not user-friendly. Overall, this is a great hotel that is worth to stay.Rooms: 4/5
Lovely, new hotel in West Melbourne. Next door to the fire station means there is a chance of disturbance. Close enough to the city if you're prepared to walk but only 10 mins by taxi and close to the tram network. Staff were fantastic. Room was really clean and well equipped. Bed was super comfy. Absolutely loved this hotel! I had an amazing experience staying here a brand new hotel I travel for work and I was staying at this hotel for over a month and Jolene and Juju were super friendly . The buffet breakfast was amazing I recommend. It made easier to have room service since I’d be so tired from work and didn’t feel like getting food. I would recommend!
Clean and modern rooms, excellent service, 10m walk to the subway station! I accidentally spilled a glass of red wine on the carpet and was told to not worry about it by the front desk. Staff went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful!Rooms: 5/5
Good location. Rooms kept well & in good order however there was noise from air-conditioner intake vent. Sounds of water running on day 4 that woken us. After reporting to the frontdesk, it no longer was heard the next 2 nights. Also the blackout curtains at the corner was not affixed to block out the morning light, but this too was promptly fixed after calling it in. Housekeeping over 7 days were inconsistent, only one day perfect, other days the couch blanket not folded, condiments like the coco sachets, sugar packets, coffee capsules were not replaced. Frontdesk check-in was smooth, efficient & easy but upon checkout there seems to be some confusion. The hotel charged the two rooms to our debit cards plus AUD50 per day for 7 night stay AUD350 per room. Tried to explain to the Frontdesk Assistant Manager but she fails to understand my concern. Insisted she did not charged but put a hold on our Visa & Mastercard credit cards Well we used *debit* cards which saw our AUD$ eWallet deducted immediately at check-in. She needs to be updated how debit card work as this is becoming a very common method of payment. Wished we were told that it can take up 10 days for international credit /debit cards to return our deposit. On top of that our 2-day carpark charges was incorrectly charged for 3 days. Upon closure of our filo, the 7-day deposit of AUD350 for each room & the extra overnight parking of AUD45 was returned eventually. We would have rather paid up full for the rooms with the debit cards & put up cash for the daily room deposit so that we can get our cash back immediately upon checkout. This was not communicated to us at checkin. Overall the other staff from frontdesk, from sales Alexander very helpful gent, F&B at the resturant & cafe and housekeeping were very friendly & courteous. Hence this 3-star review gets bumped up to 4 star for nice service staff. Note: the hotel has no swimming pool & the view overlooks private apartments, and it is next to a fire station luckily we were not disturbed during the night. Near the hotel is a nice park. And it is close enough to walk to Queen Victoria Market. Rooms: Nice bluetooth speaker clock that can perform contactless charging at decent speed. Walkability: To Queen Victoria Market and Flagstaff tram station towards the tall Police building. Food & drinks: There is a late night convenience store on that same street about 400 meters away. Most shops close by 5 pm. This one opens past 10 pm. Noteworthy details: 15 min walk to Coles supermarket.
Loved our stay here. Bed was so comfortable, room, though not spacious was comfortable. Staff were awesome, from the front desk to the restaurant staff , through to the cleaning staff all were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. So nice to be greeted always with a friendly smile instead of sour indifference. Location close to Vic Markets, Flagstaff train station. A little bit of a walk to trams but not too far. Highly recommend. Hope the staff always maintain their welcoming, friendliness.
I have stayed in Courtyard for a few times and it has been great for me. New hotel with quality service, good distance from the busy city area so it is not too busy. I recommend this to those travelling to Melbourne and looking for a high quality stay
