Cannot say enough about the hospitality from the staff. Our large extended family stayed here while in town for a funeral. Several indoor and outdoor gathering spots on site made it a comfortable place for us all to catch up and share memories. The rooms were large, clean and well maintained. The cafe was nice to have access to food and beverages, though breakfast in particular was not worth the price. The hotel is located just of the highest and within minutes from a number of restaurants and stores in case you forget anything. Definitely recommend!
No room service. No notice that we need to request fresh towels, etc. Bathroom grout was in serious need of cleaning. Worst of all, minimal eating place served replacement items in what was listed as Cobb Salad. Inedible. $tarbucks coffee$$ so old and cold…Other than that, nicely situated, decorated, friendly place with comfortable bed and room. Marriott, you are cutting corners where you shouldn’t!
Perfect location to access the city and close to the airport, under 10 minute drive. Comfortable rooms. Loads of outdoor space with seating to enjoy the lovely weather. The barbecue grill area under the pergola was well positioned.Rooms: 5/5
Home away from home. Every summer, for the past 5 years, I fly from Detroit to Portland with my son to drop him off at summer camp. We have found the Courtyard Portland Airport to be the perfect home away from home. The location is perfect, easy to get on to the freeways, and close to the Jetport. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. I always book my room here without considering other hotels around the area because I feel I would be disappointed if I stayed elsewhere. I have a soft spot in my heart for the lovely Irish gentleman, Patrick, who runs the Bistro in the morning. He remembers me every year and makes us a delicious breakfast from scratch. He’s so thoughtful and I look forward to seeing him every summer. My son’s favorite after camp activity is candlepin bowling which is not available in Michigan. And my favorite place for lobster rolls is Bite Into Maine, I enjoy their Picnic Style with coleslaw, celery salt and butter the most, however all the styles are great! I advise summer travelers to book your hotel rooms way ahead of time. Maine is an incredible state to visit and many visitors from around the world do just that. I personally look forward to returning every summer to enjoy its natural beauty. Rooms: Clean and spacious. Nearby activities: Easy to get onto freeways to explore Maine. Safety: I always feel safe during my stays. It’s more of a suburban area.
Great hotel convenient to airport. Friendly staff was able to accommodate us on check in. Rooms very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed for work. Overall, no issues. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. The games in the lobby were a nice touch! Would stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
Very clean hotel. Great location, just off the highway. 2 Queen rooms have plenty of space to share between 3 - 4 people. Short drive or Uber to downtown. There is an Airport shuttle available, too!Rooms: 5/5
Friendly, welcoming staff. Clean rooms. Airport shuttle driver was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend Sebago Brewing next door for great food and beers.Rooms: 5/5
The staff at this hotel was so helpful and welcoming. We visited from Florida in February because we wanted our kids to see snow. We were a little nervous to be so far from downtown, but the hotel has a free shuttle to the downtown Courtyard by Marriott, which puts you in the middle of the action. The shuttle also takes you to and from the airport and even took us over to the nearby Maine Mall. All of the drivers were courteous and happy to tell us about things to do in the area. The courtyard was full of snow, so our kids had a snowball fight and made a snowman. We didn't initially realize that we booked a hotel on Super Bowl weekend. The hotel staff was helpful in helping us set up our own Super Bowl party in the lobby. The gentleman at the bistro was also great. He made a connection with our kids the first day and checked in on them throughout the visit. Loved the staff and hope to come back and stay here again in the summer!
This hotel is not what I expected. The folks at the front desk where great. Even offered free breakfast. Well there was a catch to that. The elevator was broken. They put us on the first floor thinking they where being nice. It was next to the stairs. Everyone using those stairs sounded like they were in our room. The best part the room had flying bugs in it. Really gross.
