Anchorages, Moorings: Coveside offers 14 beautifully located moorings at our marina in Christmas Cove. Reservations are recommended, as these moorings fill up quickly. Hail: “Coveside” on VHF on Channel 9
Restaurant & Bar: Our Dining Room and Bar is available for all visitors, however reservations are highly suggested. In addition our facilities are available for weddings, reunions and corporate functions featuring indoor and outdoor cocktails, appetizers and fine dining. We offer incredible views of Christmas Cove and all it has to offer.
History: Ever since Christmas 1614, when Captain John Smith dropped anchor in this picturesque spot, Christmas Cove has been a favorite destination for sailors. The protection is excellent, and it is not far off the east-west path. Christmas Cove is a busy little place, always full of movement, but it retains its wonderful, low-key atmosphere. Seals, mallards, and ospreys share the cove, along with a multitude of cruisers.
