Poor customer service. Steady line of 10 or more today in the lobby and only 1 person working who didn’t have a sense of urgency. Never very friendly. Haven’t really dealt with the officers but the front needs some help
I don’t even live in Covina and I’ve been dealing with them for over a year because they keep sending citations to my home for a vehicle that we don’t own anymore… I’ve sent them letters, documentation, contacted the dmv, etc, and they still won’t take our name off the citations… they sent us to a collection agency and the agency can’t take us off their list without the Covina police departments say so… but of course, I get transferred about 100 times and when I finally get to the person I need to speak with, they never answer their phone and don’t have a voice mailbox set up…
Horrible im so tired of these covina cops not doing anything to protect us....ive called them over a 100 times and tgey still dont do nothing....thats y we have to take things in our own hands and do it our selves....what a waiste of our tax payers money
I like that it is small and community driven. Sometimes the system proves outdated, but overall fantastic Civil Servants. If I dealt with upset, angry people most of the time I believe my attitude would tire, but many of them go beyond the backlash and continue to provide excellent service. Thanks Covina Police and Fire personnel! Great job!!!
I’m a disabled Sgt of Marine’s with a brand new vehicle and I’ve been pulled over twice in the last two months while waiting on my handicap plates. I’m 28 years old and I’ve never got a ticket or been profiled until I moved to West Covina to take care of my 94 year old grandparents. Now I know why my grandmother reminds me of who I am when I leave the house.
There's a weed grower right next to a school and next to apartments. We notified Covina PD because the smell is so strong and there's children at risk but they don't care. They're just here to protect those who pay them off I guess. So sad, Rue Royal apartments are not important to them.
I went in to file a police report and the front desk person was not friendly. I told her I needed to file a police report and she asked me to use the phone and dial zero for the operator. I dialed and was put on hold for 5 minutes while there in the lobby. I told her a needed to file a police report and she told me to ask the front desk for the form?!? 1. Couldn't she have given it to me ahead of time? So I filled it out....went back to the lobby and dialed 0 again. The dispatcher asked my address....I have it to her and she told me I was at the wrong office!?!. Seriously....isn't that the very first question I should have been asked? Not very good customer service...even though I live in the same city.
So years ago i grew up in a family full of drug users and abusers. I tried calling the cops on my dad for beating me but nothing ever comes out of it. Like definitely to the point where it wasn't legal. One day enough was enough and i aquired a stungun the one that does not launch the prongs and the next time i was threatened by him i told him "if you hit me i will use this". Well turns out he can take 6 stungun blows like a champ because i forgot to mention this is the same guy whos been in even more fights then i have and has won probably 90% of them. Well he choked me until my eyes went red. I could see nothing but red. When i finally got out of it i looked like a drunk man running away for his life. I called my girlfriend and she and her parents took me to the police station to report them. I ended up going to juvy for about a month for posession of a deadly weapon. Nothing happened to my parents. Now my father killed himself and my moms a missing person.
Honestly these officers/deputys/sherrifs/po-lice are absolutely so sweet AND friendly and deal with a lot of b.s. #mayorCORTEZrocks #WATCHENCANTOWITHYOCHILE
when calling for info on my towed vehicle I was directed to voicemail and DID NOT receive a callback. You would think they would be more professional.
