Top location that not only has a giant indoor space but also is great for outdoor venues. We just did a great festival style punk rock venue and everything went well. The parking arrangement was also simple and easy - it did not take too long to get out of sight after the festival +10k people.
Honestly, I have not been here in years. Like when I was a little kid going here for a field trip to see a rodeo. I'm not sure if they still do that. This time around, I came for the low rider super show. It was like stepping into a time capsule. Nothing has changed. I doubt they've even remodeled it since the last time I was here. I definitely will be back next year for the next low rider event.
Most recent NOFX con very was there. It sure about the inside but it has a HUGE outdoor spot. Bathrooms are ports potty’s, beer started to run out hours before the show needed. Not ideal but it was a fun show none the less.
Saturday 9-2-23 marked the 23 anniversary of when I first met Mollie The Clown her real name is Melanie Covello I met her 9-2-00 at the Ringling Bro’s And Barnum And Bailey Circus 130th Edition the show was held at the Cow Palace in San Francisco California it was night time show it started at 7:30pm my Aunt and I were watching the Clown car act where the clowns came out of the car all of a sudden a clown with red hair came over to me and said that I love your hair color she said you have red hair like me and touched her hair to mine and interacted with me for a few seconds then waved goodbye to me and my Aunt her name was Mollie she was dressed as a nurse and I am still friends with her Thank you Mollie for making my first Ringling Bro’s experience wonderful
The family and I really enjoyed the Charles Dickens Christmas fair. It was a very enjoyable event for all. The amount of people dressed up for the occasion was amazing it really gave the feeling that you were in old London. I'm so surprised that I've lived in this city for as long as I have and never been to this amazing event. I'll definitely be back for it next year. I may even invest in outfits for the whole family
Went to the circus with the kids and the had the great experience of their lifes. It's worth it if you have small kids and maybe middles school kids too. Even an adult would enjoy it and have a laugh.
The building sure has aged since my last visit, but the experience of today’s event was amazing and cool. I still wonder where the arena got its name.
Dickens Faire was really fun. They did a great job making the place feel like you were in Victorian London.
What took me to the Cow Palace was the Charles Dickens Christmas Fair which is more magical than ever. It is holiday magic extraordinaire! The parking lot is expensive - $15 , but street parking can be found.
This year was the best Grand National Rodeo in a very long time! The place was packed both nights, beautiful vendor booths all over, and what a show!!!! We attended on first responders night and it was such an honor. The announcer and the clown did a heck of a job keeping us entertained. The anthem singer Sofia Claire was amazing, and The Flying U did not disappoint in the least with all their participants providing breath taking exhibits on horses and bulls! The staff should be so proud. I have been attending since I was a kid, and the energy they brought back to this event was one for the books!
