THIS is the type of business that built America. VERY reasonable prices I chose the Biscuit and Gravy Breakfast -- it was ONLY $7 for all of that food! Service is great. Atmosphere is nice. Seats are comfortable around the room. Plenty of seating. Temperature inside is appropriate. Table height is PERFECT for the seating they have -- not too high or too low. They're open 0600-2100 6am-9pm every day, I believe. If you're interested in old-school American cafes and restaurants, you need to visit this place and give them your business. They deserve it SO much more than most these days! Keep this alive.
The food was amazing and the customer service was great! Actually got to meet the chef. And kudos to the waitress that waited on me I forgot her name. At first... I didn't really trust this place because the way it looks but you can't always judge a book by its cover. But I have to say I had bad customers service experiences at Little America when it came to my food not being done right. This may not look like a five star restaurant but I will mostly definitely come back here and spend my money on my bison burger instead of dropping $40 to $50 at Little America, so they can actually make money and not have great customer service!
A completely unassuming eaterie with a delightful surprise. The reviews on Google does not disappoint. Once inside you can notice a rich rustic cowboy decor. The art done with horseshoes that adone several tables and area of the restaurant is truly spectacular. The food is great! The steak and the pork chops were very falvorful and reminds me of the taste of those expensive steakhouse back home. I really like the many healthy options available for the sides such baked potatoes, salads, steamed veggies, and sliced tomatoes. Prices are very reasonable. There was plenty of spacious seating inside and the restroom facilities were very clean. Kristen, our server, was very welcoming and attentive. This diner is a must stop along the 80 HWY.
Simple little café next to the gas and go truckstop without much else around serving basic American favorites like country breakfasts, burgers and fish & chips. We came in on Wednesday at about 11:30 in the morning and there was no one there, but by the time we left the place was packed. The only waitress on hand provided friendly and prompt service. Recommended for anyone passing through.
I've stopped at the Gas'n'Go for years, but never had the opportunity to try the Cafe. It was late, and I was about ready to stop for the day, so I went on in. I didn't realize they were open because the sign is apparently not so reliable, but they were definitely open. There were a lot of intriguing choices on the menu, but I opted for the Buffalo Patty. It was good. Not sure exactly what the tomatoes were about, but I ate them with a little salt. The meat was good, both flavorful and moist. I also ordered the beer fries, since they were out of mashed potatoes. Next I get past there, I'll be sure to eat there again.
Great food. I ordered the create your omelette. It was excellent. I had water to drink. Tasted like tap water. Not filtered. Yuck. Otherwise excellent.
The Cowboy Cafe is in the same parking area as the "Gas-n'Go" truck stop". Not much else around so no chance of getting lost. We didn't have huge expectations and boy that goes back to the old saying "Don't Judge a Book by it's Cover." They have a good menu with all the favorites. You can order breakfast at dinner, they don't care. The food came out quick and hot. There were no doggie bags that night. Homey atmosphere. Fun seating and tables available. Just down the street from the KOA camp.
I love the Cowboy Cafe. Very affordable pricing, a nice menu selection and excellent service. Portions are large and the restaurant, even at the early hours when we were there, was filling up fast. I had the country fried steak with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a huge pancake and all were delicious. I highly recommend the Cowboy Cafe. Next door, they have excellent gas prices too and ate right off the freeway. 5/5
This is honestly the best tasting food for the best price I have ever had.! Were from California and every time I know that we will be driving through Wyoming, this place is the first thing that comes to mind. The food is sooo good. No need to season when it hits the table. The waitresses are down to earth and attentive. Stop by once and you will be back again for sure!!
Nice and homey. Fast service and good prices. They actually had southern style sweet tea! Usually I can't find real sweet tea north of I-40. The homemade peach pie was delicious. There's plenty of room in the parking lot for trucks or RVs too.
