I read the rave reviews about the delicious Mushroom Ice cream and had to stop. Didn't wait long. Purchased a pint. Seemed the most bang for my buck. And I assumed I was going to like it. Yep, sure did. It is yummy. The candy cap mushrooms used give it a maple flavor that is pleasant to the taste buds. I was sad when it was gone. If I lived nearby I'd be in trouble.
We always come here a few times when in Fort Bragg. Delicious homemade ice cream! They even use the local cookie stores cookie dough in their cookie dough ice cream. The waffle cones are made fresh as well! They have some staple flavors and some that rotate, so there's always something new to try!
We were walking by and smelt delicious waffle cones and tasty ice cream. Next thing you know, we are waiting in the long line, ready to eat. Great place to eat ice cream. There are so many flavors, from basic vanilla to candy store floor, or the hokey pokey. This place has been open since 2001 and I can see why. It is so neat and clean inside, and the folks are so helpful. The really really long line is worth it. I took yellow cake batter and candy store floor. Wow! Cake batter was by far the best I have ever had. Vanilla with a kick to it. Candy Store Floor was amazing too.
The creamiest delicious ice cream ever. We ordered Hokey Pokey it’s honey flavor, raspberry and chocolate the first day. Hokey Pokey has to be my fav it’s soo rich and creamy and had crispy chunks of honey in there. We went back the second day as well since we loved the ice cream soo much. We took yellow cake batter and rocky road. Each flavor was so unique and so delicious. I would recommend getting it in a waffle cone because the waffle cone was soo fresh, crispy and yummy.
This awesome ice cream shop has been around since 2001? This place is fabulous! It is neat and clean inside and the folks are so helpful and polite. We both chose the 3 scoop your choice hot fudge Sunday with hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts and a cherry. My brother went the traditional route with 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream. I went off the rails with mint chip, cookies and cream and one more I can’t remember. It was delicious! Coming back when in the area!
Cowlick's homemade ice cream really is the best I have ever tasted - better than the best Devonshire or Cornish ice-cream in the UK, which is saying something!! Coconut ice-cream made with fresh coconut, praline n cream to die for....prices are good considering the quality and the quantity! Don't miss the opportunity and forget your diet, its worth it ;
Me and the hubby enjoyed our ice cream I had the “The Rockiest Road” and his was the Cookie dough it was just the right amount of sweetness. Def coming back next time we visit Mendo.

Mocha Almond Fudge might be the best I ever had. Huge waffle cones and servings. I had to have two scoops. Black forest chocolate with cherries was also wonderful. Definitely stop. Parking lot on south side of building. Walk to street to enter front door.
Ice cream is delicious. They have a mushroom flavored ice cream if you are adventurous. We had the pb&j and the black raspberry chocolate chunk. Both were excellent. Long line to get in but they kept it moving.
