Came here for breakfast after waiting a whole year to try their Cheesecake Stuffed pancakes, and let me tell ya, it was well worth it! The pancakes, which I feared to be dense and super rich, were actually light and fluffy, their cheesecake filling was more like a whipped cream cheese cake flavor filling, which while still pretty sweet, had a cheesiness that undercut the overly sweet flavor you'd expect. Of course they didn't require a drop of syrup, but I did use all of the strawberry topping that was provided to add some extra moisture to the fluffy pancakes. And they come with eggs, hash brows, and bacon or sausage. All of which I sucked down too fast as I was starving. My mother ended up ordering the Old Timer, which she promptly filled up on and foisted the remaining biscuits and eggs upon me. Not that I'm complaining, but she said it was only because she was full and not because her meal wasn't good. Afterwards we perused the country store section and ended up with more then a few knickknacks, mostly as souvenirs for my coworkers and family back home. But all in all we only spent a little over $30 for the meal, which I felt was a steal for the service and quality of food we received. I hope to return again!
We’ve frequented this franchise numerous times before and it has always been a hit. Today was no exceptions. Was seated quickly, ordered drinks and then ordered food. Our food was delicious and appetizing. Atmosphere was soothing as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Wheelchair accessibility: I have a walker and cane. ADA compliant stores are not the same. Adequate accommodations for entry, sitting at the table and restroom accommodations.
I came in to support this business for being open after the storm. Give them some business. I bought a candy that sold for $9, way over priced. So you think it would taste phenomenal. After dinner I had 2 pieces and it didn't taste good. The manager refused to give me a refund. Guaranteed satisfaction is one of the strongest laws in this land. Since they don't post it, Warning before you buy their over priced food products, know they don't care if you're satisfied. They may comp you a meal if you aren't satisfied. But chose to force me to pay for everything in full. I left the product with the manager. Very harsh experience. I feel robbed.
Honestly I don't normally have a problem, yes their service is slow and quite poor but today was something beyond what I thought. I was waiting for more than an hour, when only 1 third of the restaurant is full. While we were waiting for this the rest of the tables around us had not been cleaned, and trash was stacking up. While they took a full hour for 3 meals, the check was brought to our table within a minute. Let's not discuss that the two tables next to me where served before my table and we arrived earlier than them. Yet also they did not have the sides we ordered and switched to fries and that took an other 15 minutes to bring the order. Congrats to the manager for taking care of it...all he had to say was "they were busy"
Experience was much better this time around. We.had all sorts of food. My country fried chicken was juicy and moist. Everything was fresh and tasty although not very hot.Food: 3/5
Wonderful location with great service. The food is reasonable priced and tasted very fresh. A bit of a slower placed environment catering to mainly the elderly in the area so have a little patience.Food: 5/5
Wayland is an amazing server. My daughter and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and I’m glad we did. Wayland made us feel like we were at Mom and Dads house and the food was great! Thanks Wayland keep up the great work!!!Food: 5/5
It was my first time at cracker Barrel and I was delighted! The Old Country Store was adorable and there were so many cute finds at great price points. The food was heavenly-- I had strawberry cheesecake stuffed pancakes. There was so much food for so little money. Our server was incredibly sweet, attentive and personable. By the time we ate breakfast, we were SO stuffed and hadn't even finished all our food. We had to take our leftovers home. What a terrific experience!! We'll definitely be returning soon!! Service was bad and all the did was complain about the lack of workers out loud and very obvious about it . Food that night took a long time and the waitress was overwhelmed . But then things died down a lot but we was still asking for things we needed and everyone would just stand around . So it just was not our normal experience. Rooo much money for a bad expirence
