Meets expectations based on other experiences at this chain. For me personally, it’s always too loud and chaotic—but this is how ever Cracker Barrel is. There seems to be a high turnover for staff here as every time we go we seek to have a “new” server who, by nature of being new not their fault, isn’t very great. No silverware, no napkins, no refills, wrong food, etc. The food is usually quick and consistent though, so it balances out. The store area is always pretty clean and tidy, as well as the restrooms and patio. The parking lot is a bit tight at this location.
I love going to Cracker Barrel with my family! My son had the grilled chicken with corn and Cole Slaw, and I had Roast Beef with mashed potatoes and carrots. Warm corn bread and biscuits with butter came with our meals. Delicious! There was no wait on Thursday at 5pm EDT. The server was prompt and friendly and our orders were brought out in perfect time. I love this location also. When we finished, I ordered two to go dinners at five dollars each! Grilled chicken again and Meatloaf with Mac and Cheese! 10 out 10!
The food here is so bland. We've been here twice in the last 3 months. Tried dinner, boring food. Breakfast? The pancakes were delicious but $4.99 for two pancakes? Times are tough. But the country fried steak and the biscuits both had little flavor. I think that's the whole idea of this place, simple, easy. Honestly I think the prices should be cheaper. Kid-friendliness: They have kid options and seating.
The staff and manager were the nicest I've ever encountered! I'm pregnant and have been craving country fried steak. I was so disappointed with it after I ordered; it was overcooked. But I kept eating it anyway because I was so hungry. After I had eaten a good portion of it, I said something -- I felt so bad for waiting. The server was so nice and sent the manager over, who said, "You can have whatever you want." The manager not only replaced the steak with a perfectly cooked one, he put together a bag of Cracker Barrel gifts for me and had the whole staff sign a congratulations card, which was given to me as I was leaving. I was so moved, I cried. Thank you for valuing your guests!
Nice and cozy place, the food is really good! A family atmosphere, I really recommend.Food: 5/5
This restaurant used to be such a good place for a nice meal. I stopped going several months ago, but thought I would give it another try. The roast beef this time, as last time, was half inedible fat so I only got half the meat I paid for. The service was mediocre, the restrooms were a filthy disaster. The worst part was checking out. Three employees were standing chatting while I was waiting to pay. The phone started to ring so the guy told one of the women to answer it and then said oh, there are people waiting. The other girl waited on me, never asked me how my meal was, but made sure to tell me about the tip portion on the credit machine. Halfway thru my transaction both women stopped waiting on us and proceeded to give the guy their dinner orders while my friend and I waited. I work in customer service and that is just not acceptable to ignore the person in front of you- especially to order your own dinner. I finally got my receipt, and I waited a bit but the girl never thanked me for my business, so I told her 'You're welcome' and walked away. Management needs to better train their employees on customer service and the kitchen staff on serving edible food and not a chunk of fat. I won't be returning to this Cracker Barrel any time soon
I just wanted to write a review of my experience today! the restaurant was pretty busy the server we had was Sherry she was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered several suggestions we took her advice and were very pleased with our meal we were most impressed with her service she was attending to a large party but never not once did she make us feel like she had forgotten about us she checked on us repeatedly and made sure we had a amazing experience I applaud her and her service we will be back and definitely ask for her she is a amazing server HATS OFF TO YOU SHERRY YOU HANDLED YOURSELF AND YOUR TABLES VERY WELL!!!
Great food and good service. Plenty of parking with handicap parking and accessibility. Easy to see from road right off of highway. Quick access to expressway. Close to cedar point always has great specials. Great shopping in area with large box stores and small stores Mom and pops. Plenty of gas stations Bank and ATMs to choose from.
I ordered the chicken & dumplings dinner and it was just like how my dad makes it!! Very tasty. My whole family enjoyed their meals so the food was great, however, the highlight of the dinner was the store you walk thru to get to the dining area!!! They have the CUTEST little kids clothes & yard decorations & shabby chic like comforters just to name a few. They have a ton of interesting farm/cottage/country themes that I HAD TO look at EVERYTHING before we left! I have a baby shower to go to soon so I took a few pics of baby girl clothes. Hence the pics. So the food was delicious, the waitress Diamond was very very sweet, but the store stole the show for me!
It’s pretty sad what has happened to the pride at this store! I am not talking about inside I am talking about the take out orders! I am disabled my husband and I do orders from here so far corporate has had to send us gold cards twice so we decided to give it one more try ha we paid an extra $2.49 for loaded sweet potato we got No sweet potato we paid $5.49 for soup we got no soup on the second meal we paid the extra $2.49 for soup were not sure what the bowl below is? So my dinner was short two sides!
