Stopped for gas on my way to Albany NY and saw this place. Went in for Breakfast. Have been back twice already. This is an awesome old fashioned style rustic breakfast place.Food: 4/5
Always a place to stop when heading south. Great options. Plenty of parking. Service quick and friendly. Food was good… ordered the sugar ham with corn, carrots and coleslaw sides. All fresh!!! My bf ordered shrimps, fries, hush puppies and broccoli .
Brenda was a really lovely server and funny. I had the grandma sampler and loaded hashbrowns, the pancakes were amazing here, better than some others in the franchise. I enjoyed everything except the sausage, it was way over cooked. Great place to stop in for a friendly breakfastFood: 5/5
Cracker Barrel is definitely a choice for me for home cooking. I’ve eaten at this restaurant several times when in Ct. Have always had great service and the food has not disappointed. If you aren’t sure what you want the menu is adequate for your taste buds and breakfast can always be a choice.Food: 5/5

Breaded pork chops with sides being mac & cheese and mashed potatoes & gravy. Sampler plate of beef tips, chicken strips & shrimp with sides being green beans & broccoli & cheese casserole. Home style cooking at its best. Parking: Parking almost all the way around the building. Plenty of parking, however it does get crowded at peak hours. Wheelchair accessibility: Flat sidewalks and double door entry. Makes it very easy.
I love it!!!! I dont live in CT anymore so had passed a few years since I ate here. Well, I went a two weeks ago and I felt in love with Cracker Barrel once again.Food: 5/5
Stopped there for the first time because my fellow motorcycle rider suggested we go there while out cruising and i found You get a lot of food at Cracker Barrel and the waitress was outstanding, friendly and made us felt welcomed, had the chicken breast and didn't realize how much food they were going to give me, had to take some home because I couldn't eat it all. The chicken was moist and very tasty, and this place was packed with people which showed me it was popular because of the service and great food
Great roadside dining that doesn't require reservations and has tons of down homemade cooking. This location is hard to find unlike most so keep your eye out for tiny sign where you make a left turn into what first appears to be an alley but is a back "street" directly up to the restaurant.Food: 5/5
Edited review. Need to send a special thanks to the store manager and the restaurant kitchen manager. They were quick to listen to my last experience. Which caused me to almost not come back to my fav place to eat but lwts just say if you have patience and you talk to the people incharge with respect and just let them knw what took place things can and will get resolve. This last visit was completely paid for basically on the house. Thankyou for listening to ke and treating us with fast good service. And to think tgey thought we wouldnt be tipping our waitress just because its all on the house? I could never do that. 20$ tip was given just to show our appreciation for the accommodations on our meal! Still by far my Favorite place to eat .. Country fried chicken with sourdough what tastes like bread pudding French toast with confectionery sugar and cracker barrel Fresh maple syrup! Havent tasted something quiet like that in while! Along with the side of Plain janethe way I like them homefrie hashbrowns like shredded potatoes fried soo good. Cant forget the famous Country Cracker barrel Dumplings. They're have a chicken dumplings dinner dish if your in the mood for dinner I suggest giving a try. The corn bread and biscuits are a must usually I get eggs but I decided this night I don't need any. But they sure were missed. The plate across from me is a special fried chicken plate like instead of a loaded baked potato , loaded fried chicken with his favorite steak fries! Cant get enough of cracker barrel! P.s Brenda is the Best!
