History
Established in 2000
In 1998, while in the process of a major remodel of their house, Tom and Tarey Gerardy came to realize that there was no outlet in the San Diego area that specialized in the Craftsman or Arts and Crafts style. Many trips were made to the Pasadena area for inspiration as well as to find the items they wanted for their new Craftsman style home.
Recognizing that there was a "revival" of interest in the Craftsman style, first popularized in the early 1900s during the Arts and Crafts Movement, the Gerardys decided that the San Diego area needed a store that specialized in that style. And hence, Craftsman Revival was born.
Since opening day in October of 2000, Craftsman Revival has expanded it's showroom to over 4,000 square feet and continues to be San Diego County's only complete source for Craftsman style home furnishings.
