This is a really nice little park, there's trees nearby that provide the appropriate amount of shade for when it's too hot outside. They have some stuff for the little little kids as well. The bathrooms have air conditioning and there is a drinking fountain by them, which is all easily accessible from the playground. The pavilion is right next to the bathrooms, by the playground which also offers shade and it's actually cleaner than a lot of pavilions I see! If you stroll through the field, there's tennis courts and even a bridge that overlooks the river and walkable sections to get close to the water to throw stones in with your little one's. I highly recommend Playground: The playground consists of one large set for kids, one much more smaller set for the littles. Swings to accommodate all ages and a merry go round. There's also phone games you can download, a poster there that will walk you through it.. you can play them with your child. There isn't a handicapped swing here. Restrooms: The restrooms are located next to the playground and pavilion, they both have multiple stalls, AC and outside there's a water fountain. Not wheelchair accessible, as there are stairs. Dog-friendliness: I see dogs being walked all around here, occasionally there's people with dogs off leashes.. but I've never seen anyone not be able to control their dog here. No dog has approached the kids at this park Picnic area: There are multiple benches, spots under trees, across the field by the bridge in the grass, the pavilion. Spots away from the playground you can sit. This would be a good place for any type of picnic
We've had a family reunion here. It has bathrooms with running water. I've taken senior pictures here for a client. I've been coming to this park since I was a teenager. It's well maintained and a fun play area for the kiddos and plenty of space to walk and explore. The river is great for the duck race during summer and you can play tennis or roller skate on the pavement area.
I grew up around this park, I love Crampton east because of the playgrounds, my fave place to park and relax is the south lot of Crampton east, I still remember the shaving cream wars at Crampton West on the last days of school from ET White!! Now my grandkids play here!!
Another of Lapeers gems. Pavilion, places for the kids to play. Enough room for a small walk. Clean facilities. There's a Hungry Howie's pizza just said the street. Enjoy
Beautiful park to let kids play or to just take a stroll. Includes horseshoe pit area too.
Very nice park with multiple playground areas as well as beautiful nature to enjoy a nice picnic, walk or kick/toss a ball around
It used to be really nice. I went there with my Grandson and lots of litter, graffiti and just didn't look maintained.
Decent little park. River isn't too close to the play equipment. Public restrooms are available, but not sure if they are open. Ate lunch here, nice but not super quiet.
Lot of events happen at this park from Karate cookouts to the annual rubber duck launch
Very nice park! Lots of grassy area to kick a soccer ball around or play Frisbee.
