CDPL maintains collections of books, CDs, DVDs, and electronic resources for residents of Union Township and reciprocating library districts. A non-circulating collection of local history and genealogy resources is available on the library's second floor. Internet access, adult and children's programming, etc., are additional services CDPL provides to patrons.
CDPL operates the Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County located across the street from the library. The museum building was constructed with funds provided by business tycoon, Andrew Carnegie. The building was dedicated in 1902, and it was home to the Crawfordsville Public Library until 2005, when the current library building was completed. The Carnegie Museum contains multiple exhibits showcasing the history of Montgomery County. For more information, check out the museum's webpage:http://www.cdpl.lib.in.us/carnegie.php
