We loved this place! The owners are great people and helped us get in early, even though we had to move. The sites are on grass but the area is so rocky that you will not get stuck. We took out fur baby on lots of walks great for her! We played bingo one nite and it was a blast!
Better than i imagined. We stayed in a cabin which had a bunk bed and a full futon. They worked for what it was. The kids loved the playgrounds and pool. Also was a first time fishing, didn't catch anything but they liked it regardless. If we come again we would probably go for the cottage as its bigger and we would need to plan better for food picky kids make a camping outing hard haha.
Very nice, awesome people, they have nice in ground pool and have a band tonight, Sundown Band tonight. Looking forward to great music and dancing. They also have a paint and sip today, a chicken BBQ tonight, a sharp shooter contest and cam jam tournament. Definitely a fun place. Restrooms: Rest rooms have showers and laundry in them Dog-friendliness: Dogs must be leashed
It was our maiden voyage with a camper we bought last fall. We chose here because it was an easy maneuver for us first-timers. We have been State Park tent campers for many years before this...but getting older makes tent camping harder so we got a camper. We had a nice relaxing time away from life and people are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
It's a nice campground and well taken care of but don't come here if you want rest and relaxation. They have inconsiderate seasonal campers who don't care about anyone else but themselves and a live band blasting through the whole campground until 11:15 at night. We had 2 small children crying because they couldn't sleep. Not worth the $65 a night to get no sleep.
Fortunately they have the long upright banners to mark the entrance. As you can't see the campground from the road and have to drive down hill past the lake to get there. Excellent Wi-Fi , back in sites on grass full hook up 30/50 Amp, Paved roads. Newly redone bath houses... Seasonal campsites around the perimeter ll with lots of regular RV sites and campsites. Everyone was very kind and friendly. Beautiful place in the Catskills mountains. Cooperstown is 30 miles away with a delightful boat trip on the lake. And the baseball hall of fame and a Saturday farmers market. Excellent waterfalls in the area. Don't miss the breakfast on the weekend at Buck hill farm. We stayed a week in a 35 ' 5th wheel easy campground for big rigs. It's marked down in our travel journal as one of our favorite campgrounds .
It's okay. We stopped over to get laundry done and rest a bit. Level site 60. All seasonals on the outside of the park. Friendly owner.
I come here every year minus the covid. I've always had a great experience. Very clean , staff is awesome and the events are just awesome . I do wish they could get a bigger pool .
Such a good experience, the owners are super friendly and you can tell they really care about their guests! They even delivered us firewood to our camping spot so we didn’t have to lug it back. The bathrooms were extremely clean and the grounds were very well kept. There were also fun activities planned throughout the weekend. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay. The grounds are also near a ton of beautiful hiking trails.
We arrived late on a Saturday night after picking up our camper for the first time, the campground staff were so helpful and friendly even at the end of a long day escorting us to the site and even bringing back a spare 30amp extension cord for us to hook up to the electric. The campground is spacious, has a nice clean pool, playground, large pond to fish in or rent boats and my son's favorite part was the nearby Creek with areas to hunt crayfish and even swim a bit. Plus bathrooms/showers were very clean...will definitely come again.
