Cream Bar - Custom Ice Cream Sandwiches

Cookies are warm, but not enough to melt the ice cream, and there's a decent variety of cookies and ice cream flavors. I can't deny that the ice cream and cookies are delicious, but they give you a bit much ice cream to actually properly eat the sandwich and it can be messy. Less, in this case, I think would be better, or having larger cookies. Toppings probably aren't great if you want a sandwich, but fine for regular cups. There's also a decent amount of seating outside to sit and eat your ice cream. For ice cream sandwiches specifically this is certainly the place to go.

Not a cookie aficionado but even I enjoyed this place. My husband loves cookies and thought this was well worth the drive from our hometown, Gurnee. Cookies were warm and fresh, with plenty of options for flavors and fixings. There was no stinginess with the ice cream. I actually asked for less ice cream for the toddlers. Great location-easy to access with 15 min parking if you are on the run.

Classic cookie ice cream sandwhich place. Choose from a variety of warm, fresh, soft cookies and option to add icecream and toppings. The staff was so friendly too! The cookies were delicious with gooey centers and perfectly crispy outsides.

Creamy decadent ice cream sandwiched between gooey cookies...life can't get any better than this! The super chocolate "Chicago Pot Hole" flavor loaded with fudge and mini chocolate cups with the chocolate chip cookies was chocolate overload. If you love chocolate, go for it! The Cookie Monster or vanilla based flavor would have balanced out and complemented the chocolate chip cookies. After a couple of gluttonous bites, the cookie started to crumble and the ice cream was oozing out. So be prepared for a delightful doozy mess. Totally worth it! The stand-offish service soured my experience. Dealing with whiny kids with fickle tastebuds and parents trying to pacify and cater to their every whim by giving incomplete or frazzled orders can be frustrating, the stone-faced and looks of disgust facial expressions and rude tone of the female teenage staff is unacceptable. I never saw the girls crack a smile. Do you know how happy you can make that child from an ice sandwich? I was about to ask the staff a couple of questions about the ice cream flavors and they gave me an apathetic look of "Don't bother me". I didn't feel welcomed at all and left with a bitter taste. I've worked at a rest stop dealing with hungry and impatient customers...just try to be nice! Scrumptious ice cream sandwiches with a heavy dose of salty service.

We had to wait for more chocolate chip cookies but I feel like it was worth it. This way they were really fresh and warm.When you walk in this place smells super good and chocolatey. I got a Cookie and a brownie sandwich. Delicious!

It’s ok. I hate to say it but all constituent ingredients are available at any supermarket and you can make it at home yourself for less. $5 for a ice cream sandwich. But if you spend $7 you can buy Breyers or Oberweis ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, and simply make this yourself. They didn’t have many gluten free options. None of the flavors were unique. You can buy any of these flavors at your local supermarket. If you’re going to charge people so much, come up with something that customers can’t do at home.

Such an adorable little establishment. I have been here multiple times now and have yet to be even the slightest bit disappointed. Home made cookies and great ice cream. Definitely worth the stop. Sign up for their register rewards. They will send you coupons for buy one get one free or buy one get one half off. Everyone loves a deal and everyone loves ice cream!!!!

We went their multiple times, and tried different flavors of ice cream each time. My favorite is coffee ice cream with chocolate chip cookies. Also, you can add additional toppings, chocolate chips, gummy bear etc.. Since the indoors seating is closed, you can sit outside bench in summer. Love the location, specially in summer time you can walk around.

I enjoyed my ice cream sandwiches! They were a good price, and also delicious. Some cookies were softer than others snickerdoodle was softer than the m&m but the sandwich idea is unique and very good! Service was also great!

They ran out of brownies for our group. I fortunately grabbed the last one. Everything here is decadent, and over the top rich. You might sleep right after due to the "itis." These desserts & cookies are great.....try to get here early though, brownies seem to run low around dinnertime. Your mouth will
