Saturday, October 3, 2015
CreekFest is a one-day festival organized by the Cypress Creek Cultural District to promote the parks, museum, library, visual and performing arts, and other community resources in the Greater Cypress Creek Area. Through events such as hands-on art projects, artist demonstrations, concerts, and literacy activities, families can learn about the fine arts at the Centrum, Barbara Bush Library and the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts.
CreekFest supports
area artists and local businesses by providing a venue to showcase their unique artwork and products in the Festival Marketplace. Outdoor activities, such as the Color the Creek 5k Run/1k Walk, promote healthy living and physical fitness for all ages in Harris County Precinct 4 Collins and Meyer Parks. CreekFest strives to bring new visitors to the area, impact the local economy, and instill a sense of pride in local residents.
