True home cooking at an amazing price. My wife and I were in town for a wedding, and the breakfast here was so good, we went again the next morning. On Sunday’s, they have a huge breakfast buffet for $10, and the people who work there are all extremely friendly. Definitely check this place out
The lady who owns the diner was our waitress. Very sweet woman. I had the cowboy burger medium rare. Food was freshly made. Home cut shoestring fries were done perfect. My Wife had the meatloaf special. She loved it. Her mashed were homemade smashed and delicious. But the big surprise was we split a huge slice of chocolate cream pie. BEST chocolate cream pie ever. Very chocolatey and consistency was between a mousse and cheesecake. So very creamy. Youust try the pies.
We got the cowboy burger and the turkey reuben. Both were really delicious. The staff were very friendly and personable. The pie was also fantastic. They were the only restaurant open in the area, and they were lively! Would 100% go again!
Yesterday was my first time at this restaurant. Great food. Fair Price. Nice atmosphere. The waitress was super friendly. Got their big breakfast. Huge portions. I'll definitely go here again.
Went for a lunch with a couple of friends and were ignored. Never came over and asked to take our order. Since we were ignore, all I can do is give them plenty of reviews and "free advertising" so they are not ignored. Guess business is that good you can pick and choose your customers.
Superior burgers, delicious home made pies we had the strawberry rhubarb, more than drinkable coffee, and really,really nice people working there. Update - you’ll notice that across the street from Creekside there’s a flashy place with outdoor seating and lots of cars and kids. Don’t judge a book by its cover. It’s perfectly fine and has great selection of ice cream, but if you want prompt and friendly service and real deal home cooking including amazing pies, Creekside is your place.
Very good food, quick service! The waitress was very knowledgeable and polite! It was a nice family atmosphere and great prices too. If your in the neighborhood you should stop in for a piece of apple pie!
Wonderful food! The woman that owns the place is amazing as well! Very nice hometown restaurant that never has had an off day with their food.
Don't go there. I wish I had taken a pic of the "Hungryman" Special but I didn't have my phone 1 sausage patty, 1 piece of bacon, perhaps 1/3 c of barely browned has browns. If I stretch the truth, I will say 2 eggs. Wheat bread was dry and hard. COFFEE was good. Waited over an hour for our breakfast b/c the "ticket" fell on the floor.
I rolled in the mountainous region of upstate New York with my family , wife an daughter , hungry we were looking for a decent establishment , Grand Gorge came about .My daughter said, dad look a place to eat, but I wanted to wait till Syracuse, NY an was very hesitant about this place Creekside, We stopped an walked in . A gentleman wearing a Hawaiian shirt, very professional sat us at our table , considerate of us, accommodating with a very cheerful happy attitude ,waiting service was terrific, as time went along another kind gentleman asked how was the food ,I replied decent an I asked were You the cook and he said yes. The cook an I chatted briefly an I took him to be a kind an cheerful guy. Throughout the experience an older lady was yelling at the help , telling them hurry up, enough talking to customers , pulling help aside , whispering things in front of customers even next to me an my family, my daughter even said later is not rude to people,then she sat down talking to customers , the employees needed help as asked very kindly for help , don't you see me talking her reply was ,my family was surprised to the difference she was to them an how they have to react to her . My experience was disappointing the way employees were treated unfairly, due to owners unprofessional attitude , this deters me from future inquire. An old adage Happy help Happy day makes me want to come back another day , this didn't apply here
