A great place to stay. Lobby is nice. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff and manager were very nice and seemed like they have their act together. Breakfast options. The hallway smelled like smoke but if they replace carpet hopefully that will change. But the room did not smell. It was nice.
The rate was exceptional for the quality of service and comfort that was provided. I was traveling alone with two young children and the staff were exceedingly accommodating and kind to my children. The cleanliness of the room left nothing to be desired and the food was great! Thank you soo much for going above above beyond. I travel here once a week for church functions and will make sure to book here every time!!
I wish I could give more stars! We came in at 2:30am after getting caught in the storms while driving from South Carolina to Ohio. Rooms were spotless, staff were cheerful, breakfast was pretty good. Check-out not being until noon was lovely. We were able to sleep in after a long day before getting back on the road. Also - the mattresses in our room were amazing!! Hotel mattresses often hurt my back because they’re way too soft. Ours were perfectly firm. This is the best that I’ve slept at a hotel in years.
I booked this hotel through a third party and paid $53 a night. I continuously had to remind myself that "you get what you pay for". I'm sure a lot of my concerns are a matter of personal opinion BUT the cleanliness of our room was very disappointing. I do believe our bed & bath linens were thoroughly cleaned. However, the floors in the room & bathroom were not. We found old grains of rice along the side of our bed, I traveled with my 15month old who tried to eat it. Also, along side the bottom of the stool was dried urine drops and several short dark hairs. Hones/tly, the entire room & bathroom could use a good deep clean. The sliding window curtain in our room was broken. The room had a mini fridge and small microwave that was properly working, but they did not have plastic laundry bags. The room appeared to have been remodeled recently, but whoever did the work did a poor job, it looks messy. Our bathroom door was cracked and dented inward as if someone tried to kick it down. Our shower head was old and didn't have much water pressure. And, the shower curtain had yellow stains on the white stripes. The room was spacious, we did had plenty of room. But, the walls are not soundproof as we heard the television of a nearby room. And, we also woke up to thumps from people above us walking around. I'm not positive, but I believe the door into our room was particle board. The pool was undergoing maintenance, I understand sometimes that happens, but it was a bummer for the kids. The hotel staff was very friendly, but they were all dressed unprofessionally. Each desk member that waited on us was in jeans and a T-shirt. The door keys to our room & side entries had to be reset every evening, it was annoying driving back up to the front desk. Unfortunately, my family won't be booking at this hotel in the future.
We were very disappointed with this stay overall. From the minute we walked into our room, we were overwhelmed by the musty smell or wet animal stench. The beds were visibly unclean- animal hairs on the comforters and actual stuff on the bedsheets that my husband wiped off with a wet wipe. We got in pretty late so I was just ready to go straight to bed. I slept fully clothed because the beds were so filthy. I could barely sleep due to the stuffy musty smell I'm pregnant but my husband and our son also agreed to that. In the morning, my husband got out of the shower and almost used a towel to his face before noticing curly black hairs ON THE TOWEL he grabbed. The breakfast the next morning was decent and the only saving grace for this place. As we were checking out the next day, I went to the water fountain and saw a couple teens in regular clothes who appeared to be the cleaning stuff. I overheard one in a room tell another standing outside a room, "oh we're actually going to have to CLEAN this bathroom".... which to my implied they typically don't if they feel they don't NEED to. Sick. The front desk staff was really nice but we will never be back. It wasn't worth the cheap price- we only settled here because everywhere else was booked and now we know why.
I wanted to love this place every step of the way. The staff was great, friendly and accommodating. The room was very big, plenty of room and that was great. The bathroom was oddly small. The room was clean, but it had no towels and soap, and we didn’t have a blanket on the bed. There were stains and mold on the ceiling. It’s a shame because it could be a 5 Star hotel. For the price, we thought it was a steal. We got what we paid for.
We stayed one night last week. We were very pleased with our room. The room was clean and large. Beds were comfortable, our breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. If we travel that way again we will stay there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great job everyone. Rooms: 5/5
The staff are extremely amazing!! Charles the front desk was amazing and funny. He has a good attitude. The place is clean, the beds are comfy, and my two dogs had a blast there. It's just very good energy. I would highly recommend, and would stay here again. Couple more days and we are leaving and honestly I hate to go lol!!Rooms: 5/5
We originally planned to stay 2 nights on a quick visit to see my granddaughter. I am 66 and my traveling buddy Elijah is 10. We were so taken by the friendly staff that we ended up staying 7 nights. I really hated to leave. Day shift Mgr Jackie was so sweet and kind to Elijah. That's not common in many facilities ..it endeared her to me forever. While there we were looking for activities. She actually invited us to meet her and her family at a fair they were holding in this next town. What a great time we had with them. Thanks again Jackie. During our stay each day we had a bountiful breakfast bar coffee and juice available during the day. On the evening shift Mr. Will was a total pleasure. Not only to me but to my grandson. He is a young entrepreneur working full time there .owning a cab company and uses social media as a motivational speaker and mentor to young people. He also is a musician. Very busy man but a person we will never forget. My grandson still watches him on social media. Everyday we met locals who were there for various reasons grandparents with their kids and grandkids. We still keep in touch We kept extending our stay because the staff and other guests made us feel welcome and part of a family. Coming out of the worst of the pandemic it was a breath of fresh our. The rooms were clean..the pool was a big plus and the view from the front porch was breathtaking. I recommend this hotel for anyone with kids.and those without. We will never forget you and we will return
Room was big, no bugs, decently clean, central air and heat in room, located right next to a gas station and dollar general. Close to Walmart but still it was the next exit on the interstate. Lobby was outdated and it took the lady a few min to acknowledge us. Breakfast was decent. $100 cash only deposit required and given back upon check out.
