I watched a young girl in our group get hurt. She was shocked by the wall in one of the scare rooms. When she told the employee at the exit of it. He argued with her that there was a sign. He completely disregarded her injury and had zero emapthy. I will admit, I did see a sign but it's on the wall of the insane asylum and it says shock therapy with a arrow. It's not an actual sign warning if you touch the walls you will be shocked. The poor girl was hurting the rest of the walk. She truly was injured. If that alone isn't bad enough. They were sending groups in too close together. It's dark so you have to take your time. Unfortunately with so many people in there at once. You don't get scared. A lot of the employees were breaking the acts to converse with the people on the trails. There were only 6 people in our group, but the actors only focused on one person at the front. No one tried to scare us. We stopped a few times to let people in our group get farther away but even then the actors ignored us. It was disappointing to drive 45 minutes for that.
We have not visited since they did away with the hay ride, but returned this year with high expectations. The line on Saturday night well before Halloween was extremely long with over an hour wait. Once we were in the final queue to enter the woods, the gatekeeper allowed a group in front of us to enter with 9 people, apparently their policy is no groups of more than 6. Because of their size and the pace at which they walked the trail, we caught up to them within the first 5 minutes even when going slowly trying to maintain a gap and many many groups behind us caught up as well. Because it became a very long single file line, we missed most of the scare points as the workers had no break to reset. This was truly a waste of $100 for 4 people to walk in the dark.
If you want to stay local and still have a great scare. This is where you go.
We waited in line way too long just to be crammed with more people, barley got scared. it was spoiled because there were people before us at every step. Not worth the price. Then you can’t pay with card and if u don’t have it you have to wait back in line and have people cut you. Also the tickets are 22 dollars but u can’t take that out of the atm they had so make sure you have cash. Honestly to much hassle just go to red veins haunt way better and you actually get to be with your group and you get scared separately and they accept card and cash.
Scary? To me not really. This was more suspenseful. When are we going to get scared? When are we going to get spooked? When I enjoyed about coming here, was watching others get scared. The reactions the good time and the laughter was all I needed.
Went to this one after we went to another and it was great!!
Not sure why this place would get anything but 5 stars! It was amazing! It is worth the money. I suggest you get the tickets with the VIP pass if you don’t want to wait over an hour. With the VIP pass we waited 15 minutes. Love the story they tell you to set the scene. I visit many different haunted houses and attractions and this one was great. I highly recommend it.
Very disappointed this year!!!! Groups were so close that your own group couldn’t get scared. But then at the same time walking through the woods for long periods of time with no scare. We paid for 6 people and it was such waste of money and time!!
This place is great fun! The drawback was the wait; fortunately there was great weather. We love that they let you go through the forest at your own pace. Lots of jump scares but it's just creepy wandering through the forest in the dark. The path is very dimly lit but you can find your way. Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere, great haunt!!! Lots of unexpected twists and turns, both teens and adults had a blast. We've been to most of the local haunts and this is our favorite.
