We hope to engage people in a fun, whimsical experience and educate them about cats and possibly make love connections, one cat at a time...
Thousands of cats are put down each year in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes and any outlet that will facilitate adoption of our homeless animals will be an asset to the region.
We hope to engage people in a fun, whimsical experience and at the same time, educate them about cats and possibly make love connections, one cat at a time.
We also will serve the greater community by having a senior-to-senior program, which will pair volunteers with elders and others who would like the companionship of an older, calmer cat but are concerned about their ability to care for the animal long-term, and what will happen to their friend when it needs to be rehomed; we will take care of that. In fact, none of our adoptions is ever final.
We are also simply a visitation center for those people who love cats but can’t have one in their home, for whatever reason. We will have indoor and outdoor visitation areas and welcome folks to bring food and beverages to enjoy while hanging with the cats. We will also offer yoga with cats three times per week!
We want to be a cat-centric community center on the eastbank of NOLA, with possible expansion to other locations.
“Our mission is to create a calm, quiet, comfortable place for folks to come to hang out with some shelter cats and kittens, all of which will be available for adoption.
