I flew into town to be near my relative as she underwent surgery. I only have good things to say about this facility. The place is welcoming, comfortable and easy to maneuver while waiting for the surgeries and post-op. My relative spent the night two nights in a row and it was a breeze and very welcoming to visit patients after hours. This facility has drink vending machines and coffee pots at different locations on both floors we visited. I would recommend this surgical unit because the staff is great and the place is welcoming. Did I mention the views from the waiting areas on both floors are great?
A++ review of all staff and experience for pre-op and day of surgery. I can’t speak highly enough of the overall experience with the surgery center and all the staff involved in my care. Day of pre-op was orderly, timely and detailed. A great way to be introduced to the center. They set the bar high and I was not disappointed in my care for the day of surgery. The nurses were extremely attentive and helped reduce any anxiety or stress that comes with surgery. The anesthesia team, attending and CRNA made the day of surgery extremely comfortable. They were thorough and professional. I highly recommend Dr Christakis general surgeon for hernia repair. From his clinic visit to day of surgery, his bed side manner is exemplary. He was highly recommended to me from close friends and medical professionals. I couldn’t be happier with his service. If I need additional care from a general surgeon in the future, I won’t hesitate to seek his care.
Incredible! We were concerned about this facility not knowing a lot about it, but it was the BEST choice ever. The facility was immaculate, the staff was amazing, and food was even good! I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone!
My nurses were incredible. Super attentive and sweet. Thank you guys for the smiles and small talk, it made my day significantly easier. And idk who wrapped my knee up post-op but you KILLED it. Much love.
I love this place! Very clean and caring environment. I suffer with lower back pain and a sciatic nerve. I had been avoiding the scheduled back injection because I was terrified. However, I do not regret the procedure. From start to finish, the intake nurses were pleasant and organized. Andrea, Angelle, Sherri, Dr.Finney and all staff involved were amazing and patient with my anxious heart. The aftercare concern was astonishing. My coffee , goodie bag of snacks and my speedy recovery card I received in the mail were endearing. Thank you all for the pleasant ,healing experience. I am feeling much better since my procedure.I recommend this facility highly. It is impossible to function daily when your back is in pain, self care is pivotal.Anyone who suffers with back injury and pain, don't hesitate to call them and schedule a appointment.
I could not recommend the team at the Crescent City Surgical Centre highly enough. I have had 12+ surgeries and have developed medical PTSD over the years and this was the most pleasant experience I could have asked for. Everyone was kind, informative, and dedicated to my care. They addressed all of my concerns and gave me preventative care options to avoid triggering anything for me. My post op nurse also sent me home with bags of supplies and snacks : Thank you, everyone!
I had a small procedure done here yesterday. Everyone from front desk to the nurses, anesthesia, assistants, EVERYONE- Was super friendly and had great bed side manner while not being too uptight. They made me feel relaxed and safe. Any concern I had was addressed immediately. No waiting around for medication like you do in major hospitals. I normally don’t post reviews but really felt compelled to for this place. Thank you Crescent City!
It's been about four weeks since my surgery at CCSC. All of the staff were wonderful..from my anesthesiologist and CRNA to pre and post op nurses. I had a list of names of everyone I wanted to thank but have lost it somewhere. This was easily the best surgical experience that I've had. I submitted a separate review for my outstanding surgeon Dr. Summer Black with more details about my surgical experience..and what happened post hurricane Ida. I am so grateful for all of the staff at CCSC that helped us. They were extremely generous and caring even though they were dealing with their own stress caused by the storm. I want to especially thank anesthesiologist Dr. Shows for his incredible act of kindness. Jessica the 4th floor charge nurse is amazing : Patty, Mark, Al..I'm sorry I lost the list of names but thank you to everyone that helped us! I highly recommend Crescent City Surgical Centre- you will be well cared for.
Thanks so much to the staff at CCSC. Our son had surgery and we were very nervous going in. We were put at ease immediately. Staff were supportive, caring and informative. Thanks Dr. E. and S. Black, Becky anesthesia, Chasidy, Stacy and Sarah. I am a director of quality at a large local hospital. What we saw and experienced here was exceptional in every way. Had a colonoscopy here this morning and can't say enough good things. Very clean facility and everyone was super friendly. Unfortunately I cannot remember the names of the nurses who had did my prep maybe Jessica and brought me into the surgery room, but Angele took fantastic care of me in recovery ... even getting me a diet coke. If I have a need for more proceucedures / surgeries, I'll be sure to use this facility.
