08/19/23: Don't get me wrong here but this park is kind of nice, urban park with many fields and playgrounds. The trail is calm, peaceful along the whole park. The parking is ample and there were not many people when I visited. There is a small library tree tucked in the corner of the park. Overall, it is clean, well-maintained and entertaining
This dog park is like our Cheers, and everyone knows our dogs names. It's a great park - clean, well maintained and full of friendly dogs and friendly and responsible owners. This has been perfe t for our shy 1 year old GSD mix to get comfortable with other dogs and learn how to play. It had also been a very safe place for our 17 year old min pin mix to trot around in. Playground: The park has a small and clean playground. Restrooms: There aren't any actual restrooms, but there is a honey bucket. Picnic area: There are 2 well maintained picnic areas. One is reservable.
Great off leash dog park. Separate small and large dog areas, water and poop bag stations provided. Lots of agility type equipment installed. Was very clean when we visited. There are also trails you can walk on leash around the park. Beautiful landscaping. Apparently also a child's playground here, but we did not visit that side.
This park was close to our hotel in SeaTac when we were just out there. Nice park...clean, litter Free and a nice dog park area Dog-friendliness: Very nice dog play area Picnic area: A pavilion as well as other tables
Beautiful park, clean and pretty quiet. I visited on a Friday morning though, so I can imagine it gets busy here. The dog park is covered in grass. It has agility courses. A small dog and large dog park. It's a pretty good sized dog park! Outside the park there is a walking trail, part of it goes into a foresty area of the park. It loops around the park and brings you back to the parking lot. Two parking lots that I noticed here. A doggie water fountain is available right outside the dog parks. Really nice park, I love it !
I stopped going here several years ago due to safety concerns. What a difference! People using the off leach park. People walking the trails. Park is very well maintained. Full Free Little Library is full. I am so happy I came back.
Good place to bring your dog walk around play in the playground, the basketball ball court and baseball field also a good place for a picnic Playground: Average playground Restrooms: Only one honey bucket Dog-friendliness: Place for big and small dogs Picnic area: Lots of tables in the shade
It's my dogs favorite dog park but the people that visit is what makes it not so great. Went there back to back days this week small dog area. Fitst day, big dogs were in the small dog area because one of the big dogs was very aggressive and fighting all of the other dogs. The big dogs they had in that area were very friendly and played with my frenchie and we had a great time so I don't mind mixing the two different sizes. The other days I encountered people with dogs that don't really want to be around other dogs and today I encountered people that had two puppy pitbulls that said my dog shouldn't play with theirs because their dogs are aggressive...but they didn't leave! So I took my dog to the bigger area where there was a husky that wasn't friendly to small breeds so I ended up leaving to another park. Everyone has the right to go to a public park with their pets but if their dogs are aggressive or don't want to be bothered by the other dogs why be there and mess it up for the dogs that want to run around and meet all the other pets. It's very annoying!!!
I just spent a peaceful morning playing in the snow with my dog. I love the improvements they have made since my last visit. There are a few toys for the dogs to play on.
The park is small but cozy. There's a small playground which is kept clean. There's a single veranda with a barbeque, which is reserved and in use by families fairly often. There is a short wooded trail which is narrow but paved and pleasant. There is a basketball court that doesn't have any baskets it's only poles and backboards, if I recall correctly. There's also a baseball diamond I've only ever seen used to run dogs off leash, which is aggravating given that a quarter of the park is a fenced off-leash dog park. Which leads me to my chief complaint: no one at this park keeps their dogs leashed. Every time I have gone to this park, there have been individuals letting their dogs run off-leash around the park. My dog and I have been charged at by neighborhood chihuahuas or over-enthusiastic labradors -- OUTSIDE of the designated areas -- on every visit. I think the coziness of the park makes it too easy for local residents to simply let their dogs out to run, which is terribly inconsiderate. There is also no restroom. There used to be a singular portajohn by the playground but it was removed a few months ago. This does seem to coincide with a decrease in cars camping out in the parking lot. On the plus side: its open areas are maintained and easily walked, with three Pokestops and a Pokegym for those looking for a change of pace.
