At PNW Athletics & Nutrition, we are big-hearted contributors working diligently to improve the health and wellness of as many people as possible, including ourselves. We are a community that encourages one another, lifts each other up, and continually develops our skills in mind, body and spirit in order to access our fullest potential.

We expect the best. We believe in feeling good about ourselves: how we move, what we think, and what we eat. We like to give back to our communities and expand the impact we make in our worlds. We make a habit of being happy. We want life to be full of vitality for everyone!

WHAT WE DO

We believe there is a close connection between how a person thinks, eats, moves, and feels. We believe the best way to become our best selves is by addressing the entire person: mind, body, spirit. We aim to serve our clients holistically. Just as it benefits us to improve our physical strength, it also benefits us to strengthen our nutritional foundation, minds and spirits. We believe they are all inextricably linked.

We recognize that personal growth is a process. There will be ebbs and flows, just as there are in nature. Much like a musician practices an instrument, or a doctor practices medicine, we practice the art of personal development. We stretch beyond what we know, support others doing the same, and practice with consistency.

We prescribe to the CrossFit philosophy, which states that in order to achieve optimal levels of fitness, we need movements that are functional, constantly varied, and performed at high intensity. This is unique for each person, so we take the time to know where each of our members is starting out, and where they want to go on their path of self-discovery/improvement/personal practice. We combine metabolic conditioning, gymnastics movements, and weight lifting to give you better strength, endurance, and capacity than you have ever experienced before! You will see results not only in your physical capacity, but also joy in life, resilience, mental fortitude, and emotional stability.

Meditation classes are offered in the morning to foster a time of serenity and gratitude. Other common offerings include book groups focusing on personal development, nutrition seminars, and workshops regarding personal care products - all designed to give you a better understanding of your overall health within a holistic approach to wellness.

We help you determine your limiting factors so that you are able to push past them. While there are several limiting factors, nutrition has been proven over and over to be THE number one reason people either succeed with their fitness goals or don’t! It is also the foundation for fitness, and usually is the difference between good athletic skill and great athletic ability. Therefore, we offer nutritional suggestions based on your goals. Since each body is distinct, we typically recommend an initial plan that incorporates wholesome food choices that foster goodness on all levels, as well as assistance in identifying your unique food sensitivities. Later you can tailor nutrition coaching to suit your needs and desires.

PNW Athletics & Nutrition welcomes everyone. And we mean everyone! Regardless of age, ability, or athletic history, we are happy to help you achieve your goals. You will find that diversity reflected in our coaches. While we all vary in athletic and professional backgrounds, we are all on the same quest to serve others and better ourselves.

We offer one-on-one introductory sessions to each person prior to joining group classes and a variety of memberships to suit your needs. You will be assigned a primary coach, who will be your point-person for guidance, support, memberships, and other needs you may have.

Our goal is to build a relationship with you that will enable us to serve you best.

We want you to see results, so we meet with you to understand your goals, offer suggestions, and action plans to move forward in all three realms of your life: mind, body, and spirit. We know you are capable of great things. Come see for yourself!
