Didn't even make it to a room. Was turned away after setting a time for a viewing. Was needing a place and obviously it wasn't ment for my family, blessing in disguise. Receptionist unapologetically nasty and rude, which made me realize glad we weren't staying their. This place needs a makeover. Trash overflowing the trashcan outside all over the street. Alot of people occupied this establishment if you can even call this rundown unprofessional place an establishment
The doors work. That’s a big difference from the other supercheap hotels around here. It smells like weed, but so does everyplace else. It’s also kind of clean. That’s nice. Their complimentary WIFI, though, can’t be used by any device that has been updated in the past 8 years. The captive portal uses a version of SSL that was disabled long ago because it’s absolutely insecure. I presume most of the clientele is using ancient Chromebooks and Huwei phones.
Disgusting! Room wasn't cleaned at all.. stains on the blankets. Staff couldn't care less about anything...real rude and passive aggressive. Do not waste your money here. Rooms: Disgusting! Dirty!! Food & drinks: No food or drink! Noteworthy details: Rooms aren't worth anything more than 20 bucks a night...if that!!
The best thing about this hotel is Brian and his staff! Everyone is so nice and helpful. This was the second time I stayed there and I'd stay there again. They do their best to make you feel comfortable and safe. Rooms: Not bad, very cozy. The kitchens are cute and convenient. Safety: I felt safe there, they do their best to keep people away that don't belong there. Noteworthy details: I won't say anything bad about HomeTowne, but I do wish they had the laundry room and vending machines available.
Very dirty place with thin walls, noisy residents and sketchy things going on in the parking lot at night. The room doesn't get cleaned except when you first arrive. You take out your own trash and exchange towels and bedding on your own. Obviously, it's also very affordable. Just know you absolutely get what you pay for. Also, just had water all over the floor. Front desk tells me the upstairs room's toilet overflowed. If that's not disgusting enough, they told me I could come down and get towels so I could soak up the urine/water myself. Literally paying them to stay and maintain the room myself. Never again...
Wish I could give 0 stars. The rooms smell awful and the furniture is trashed. Two adults in a room for a month and there was only one small dresser with 3 drawers. The windows don't open so there is no way to air out the room. The maid only comes by once a week so we ended up buying cleaning supplies. It's so terrible here. The first time I cleaned the shower, the water was black as I rinsed down the walls. The locks are forever braking and they don't have replacements in stock, they end up taking locks from other rooms that are on maintenance hold. If there was any other option available, we would not stay here. Two thumbs way down.
This place is disgusting. The first room they tried to put me in was either still occupied or never cleaned after the previous person had left, it was completely trashed. The second room they put me is was in a non-smoking room and there were cigarette burns on the floors and sheets. The carpets were completely disgusting probably have not been cleaned in a year and we refused to put our infant on the floor to play. We found an empty condom wrapper and used ear picks under the bed. We also found burned bacon in the sink. The hotel is completely run down, holes in the walls in the stair well and other places. The front desk staff was friendly however when I spoke with a manager regarding a security concern in my room I was quickly dismissed. People around the hotel seemed shady at best. Spend the extra few bucks per night and go somewhere else. Do not subject your families to this place.
Dianna and Danielle are super sweet! BUT the property is littered with trash and cigarette butts. I mean LITTERED!! If you have a service animal, they are rude to you about it and have strict rules. The AC did not work even when it was cold outside so we sweated for 2 weeks. The cops were here every night. Homeless folk sleep in the stairwells. The rooms are clean at a glance but the inside of drawers and cabinets are not. The under sheet thing they used on the bed had about 20 cigarette burns on it. I know there are better and more affordable options out there.
The manager is butthole and rude. The housekeeping staff stole my pillows out my room and they gave me one night compensation for 5 pillows that ranged in price from $25 to $50 and gave me a room for $48. The manager Danielle lives on the third floor and there's always the smell of weed and crack a sweet tart smell coming from her door and the housekeeper Autumns door next to her.The only good one there is Tiffany. The rest of the staff is fake and two faced. There was a hole in the wall behind the door, the water barely gets hot and the heat gets cold after being on for more than 10 mins. The bathroom had yellow/orange stains on the ceiling in the smoking room, I had to clean it myself. The housekeeper Autumn that cleaned my room never fully cleaned the room never swept under the bed, mop the floor or clean the toilet I had to that on my own. The housekeeper took my towels out of the room and the hotel checked them out to another guest and they told me they would wash them and return them to me. Like really you gave my towels I bought with my own money to another guest then offered to give them back to me. Stay at your own risk. Management sucks and she is super hairy.
Heed the horrible reviews and find a better place to spend your money. I thought people were just being picky. Boy, was I wrong. Room stinks terribly. Was supposed to get a king size bed. Got a full size.. The water pressure is weak and they're too damn cheap to set the water heater to a tolerable level. Full hot water turned and still a cold shower. Tweakers crawling around like cockroaches. Listen to the reviews. Don't make my mistake.
