This place is a great value. The thing I liked best was that I didn’t have to set up monthly payments. I hate monthly recurring payments. They’re so difficult to stop. Anyway, I paid one lump sum for the year and got a good discount. The gym is clean and the machines are in good repair. I really enjoy the classes. I would like the classes better if they weren’t mostly 30 minutes long with no time to stretch and warm up or cool down.
Came to the gym at 7 am and sat and waited about 15 mins, and the employee did not show to open the gym. Excited that I pay 30 dollars per month. Pretty bad that I watch 20 of us sit outside the gym. Funny how the people who attend the gym and more willing to show up then someone who gets paid to be here.
Billy, the trainer is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! You need to go to his classes immediately. I've never gotten a better workout in my life than his HIIT class! He is so respectful, professional and motivating. He encourages me every class. Best instructor ever in the fitness universe!!! :
Honestly the gym is cool I'm new to area and this staffs been the kindest respectful people Ive met in HB. Everyone seems pleasant, gyms always clean restrooms are gross sometimes but thats the patrons. Grown men pooping on toilets etc. reflects the culture and dynamic of people. Close to my new place and never to crowded
2022 update: ever since the current management team took over, the quality and upkeep of this gym has taken a nose dive. Classes are no longer all that great. Don’t bother looking for a good Zumba class here. Again, so much went wrong with the management change after reopening from COVID. The GM is not friendly and seems lazy to me. She will be at the front desk and not even look at you or say hi. Doesn’t take ownership of mistakes. For example, there was a new fitness class schedule produced and printed that introduced a coupe of new classes that apparently changed last minute. When asked what happened, she and other staff acted like we were crazy at first, then proceeded to blame it on unreliable new hires. All they needed to say was, “sorry, we hoped to start that class, but we were not able to secure the resource for it as planned. I’m glad you were excited about it, and we will continue to see how we can add that class.” Don’t expect any level of professionalism at this gym. It’s very sad to see this gym turn so badly so quickly. The elliptical machines should be replaced, they are so bad. The branding on the front desk is being held on by tape. The staff seems to turn over a lot. Trash will be left in the same place for a whole week.
I love my home gym! I tried a year membership and have come such a long way in my physical fitness goals. I love the group fitness classes because they teach me so much about form & push me to work harder. The people who go there are nice and chill, and it's rarely too crowded. The staff are amazing and so friendly. It's such a great vibe!!
I enjoy coming to this gym, the people are very friendly and for the most part all machines are working and In good conditions.
Great gym, a bit small so pick your time so it's not too crowded around 9:00 to 1:00 p.m. is usually the best to avoid the crowds. Good staff membersing nice plenty of equipment definitely worth the price.
Long overdue review. This gym completely lacks the level of professionalism you would expect from a gym. I started going here 4 years ago and about 3 weeks ago was the final time. Management prior was amazing!!! Erene the general manager is literally the most terrible person you could possibly put in charge. This gym used to be so clean and welcoming. Now all the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. The workout equipment is extremely dirty, dusty, and sweaty. She is also extremely rude. Rude is even an understatement. She has never once said hi or if she can be at any assistance. Instead she just works out her entire shift. The gym has completely gone to the floor. She shouldn't even be a janitor let alone a GM. I switched over to 24 hour in Bella Terra. A REAL gym with REAL staff who appreciate to be there.
I have been coming to this gym for a year now and I have to say I have had an amazing experience. The staff is very kind, communicative, and helpful. There are multiple machines and free weights for access. I’ve gone to a couple gyms before coming and settling at Crunch Huntington Beach and I have to say this gym is extraordinarily better in every aspect. Only thing that I would criticize is that there is no hack squat machine which I would love to see be added to this gym. If you are looking for a gym to join Crunch Huntington Beach is definitely where you should go.
