They cancelled my surgery the day before. Literally less than 12 hours prior due to an issue that should have been addressed months ago. They were unorganized and unprofessional. I do not recommend this office. Waste of my time. Making your patient jump through hoops for FOUR months just to cancel a surgery that I put my life, my job on hold for…took months planning. Then each appointment more and more “problems completely unrelated to why I was there in the first place kept coming up which resulted in unnecessary labs & tests being run. Get a reference to the office? Run the other way and fast.
I'm not sure if the negative reviews here actually reflect office management or if it's more a local Flagstaff thing, because every office in this town seems exceptionally busy. However, my experience so far has been fantastic. The doctor took one look at my tonsils and said "those should come out, they're huge." No Dr. in 40 years has even mentioned my tonsils. EVER. They were so large that blowing my nose too hard would cause me to choke, because apparently they were blocking every hole in my face! Saying that my experience here has been life changing - would be a bit much... But when you go from only being able to breathe from your mouth, because only breathing through your nose was a guaranteed way to slow tortuous suffocation, to now being able to pull in FAR more air through my nose than I could previously through my mouth - let's just say that the possibilities in life have grown tremendously. Now I'm going through the allergy shot treatment because I'm also allergic to just about ALL the things! I'm almost afraid to find out that one day I'll be able to breathe even better. I guess only time will tell.
Would give 0 stars if possible. My wife has had an active infection and it has taken months just to send out proper information for a higher level of care. The people constantly say that they will call us when info is ready, but they never do. There is always some reason why they are backed up. It seems that they do not actually care for their patients.
If you’re going for allergy testing, find somewhere else. The process of even getting the test done took several months, and would have taken even longer to begin the treatment. For some reason it’s absurdly expensive as well, as insurance paid well over a grand yet Crystal Canyon expected about the same amount out of pocket. When an itemized receipt was requested, it never arrived. If another facility asks for your test results, make sure to call the front desk about it: don’t just rely on their fax.
I was a bit apprehensive to come here due to the reviews I read. But, I'm happy with decision to come here so far. Its been good, had a great dr and all staff I dealt with were very courteous and professional. I asked for any copay and any expected out of pocket costs before my visit, they made note of it and when they called me for my reminder they provided me with the info. So no surpises on the finance portion. I was issued medication and it was sent right thru to my pharmacy. The assistant was so good she gave me her card just in case my prescription didnt go thru. And she said I could call her if I had any questions. I still have an additional visit and so far I have no complaints.
After having endless problems with nasal congestion and sinus infection I was referred to Crystal Canyon for treatment and ultimately, surgery. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of that. It literally changed my life. The staff and Dr have always treated me very well. Also, great communication, no issues on that side of things either. I've been going there for allergies and also checkups for over 4 years.
Didn’t have a good experience with front desk staff / cost transparency / appointment communication. The allergy testing and consultation were fine but ridiculously expensive. I found another place to finish out this process.
This is the worst experience that I have ever had with a medical professional. My initial appointment was 7/28/2020. A nasal culture was taken and a plan of care was established. It is now 9/16/2020 and I have yet to be notified of the culture results. I have called 5 times. Either I had to leave a message or if I was lucky enough to speak with a human I was told that their medical tech would return my call with the results. Not only that but I was prescribed a medication that I was allergic to. My pharmacy had to initiate contact at least twice before a different medication was prescribed. During one of my phone calls to this ENT office, they asked ME who the person was that the pharmacy spoke with at THEIR office because the new corrected medication had not been noted in my chart. I as a patient have patient rights, one of them being quality care. This is total incompetence. I will be making a complaint with the medical board and also notifying my insurance company. I give them 1 star because their is not a zero option.
Got emergency surgery to remove infection in Tonsils only for them to grow back and nearly cause Sepsis
Associates in office are very rude! Be sure to call and insure your treatment plan is on track and you don’t slip through the cracks. Very unprofessional office.
