The CSUMB Accounting Society strives to cultivate greater interest in the limitless career opportunities available in accounting. The Accounting Society hosts a series of informative speakers and social events with local firms throughout the year.
With Accounting Society, you will learn about the various areas within accounting, gain assistance in obtaining internships, and have fun. We strongly encourage people to begin attending events as early as their freshmen year. The more events that a student attends, the easier it is to figure out his or her best fit. Also, the more familiar the firms are with the student, the better.
The Accounting Society will be nationally recognized as a premier organization on the California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) campus. By attending meetings and
publicly held events, members will gain confidence, knowledge, and initiative to each of
their purposes in life and prospective careers. The CSUMB Accounting Society’s vision is to make a difference as an organization to its university and community. Through an
established professional network of former CSUMB graduates, surrounding businesses,
and CSUMB personnel, the organization will maintain its strength and build key
relationships for its success.
