Please do not store here. My unit was infested with mice. I had mice droppings all over my personal property and prized possessions. They claim I didn't opt for the insurance which was supposedly signed by me but printed and dated by someone else. I'm not asking for them to replace through the insurance. I'm asking for my almost $400 a month in storage fees back so I can pay to have things professionally cleaned. Since they did a poor job taking care of my belongings. Life Storage continues to refuse any responsibility. I also found a dead mouse in my unit. I kept no food in there and should have no reason for this infestation. Please if you value your possessions absolutely do not Store there! Life Storage only cares about money and their bottom line not their customers. They have proved it to me based on this situation!
Ron and Yvette are awesome! I was stressing when I came in but they made it so pleasant! I have to get out of my apartment and I needed storage right away! Their service was five star! They are definitely valued employees! I would recommend to everyone to come here and rent from Ron and Yvette I'm going to tell all my friends about the pleasant experience! Stay away if you’re looking for transparent billing or flexibility with reservations. I paid to reserve a storage unit on their website, and ended up calling to cancel the reservation two days later prior to the move-in date due to a change in plans. The person I spoke with said no problem. Days later, the transaction still showed up on my credit card and I called back - this time speaking with the manager. The manager had no idea who I spoke with previously but agreed to process a refund for me. When I received a refund invoice later that day - it was only for a partial amount. I called back to ask why I was only receiving a partial refund and the manager said I was on the hook for rent prior to speaking to him. My planned move-in date was not until that day, but fine - I wasn’t going to waste energy arguing. 3 weeks passed and I didn’t receive a refund, so I called back again. The manager said he had no idea what the status of my refund was and that he would have to check with his billing team. When I expressed frustration, he had the audacity to tell me that he didn’t technically owe me a refund because the company doesn’t normally permit cancellations. In the end, I was charged in full for services that were never provided and I never received a refund despite receiving a refund invoice. While their cancellation policy might be valid, I guess $130 is worth more to this facility than a reputation for being flexible or military friendly.
This place is ran by crooks! They are literally using my bank information without my authorization..... I spoke with Joe who is a snake and he stated that "Matt" ran it by mistake. This month they used my card information AGAIN after being confronted about the issue. If you give these people your bank information they will use it at will. I have filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer Protection, and the Attorney Generals Office! Thieves!!
I was a customer of CT Self Storage for several years. They provided a very, very clean facility that was convenient and easily used. I highly recommend this storage company and would absolutely do business with them again. I simply moved to a new home and no longer needed the space. If you need storage, go here. Don't bother shopping around and touring the others...CT Self Storage is it.
The facility is very clean and climate controlled. The staff is welcoming and go beyond the call of duty to ensure you get the best service there is. Initially, I'd to call them multiple times for things such as password or other simple things that I might have forgotten and they were very helpful and polite and we always had a great laugh! This is one of the best self storage there is.
Not the friendliest place in town. And for them it's all about the bottom line. I think there are others that are a little more friendly to choose from. I don't think anything special about these folks.
New spanish guy sucks works mid afternoon using units for years jim has been exelent over the years spanish guy even use swears towards me very unhappy.I was cleaning unit did not let me finish before making a big deal
The manager is very helpful. He was courteous, compassionate and efficient.
Competitive prices and I felt safe storing here.
