CTS is a great place to work and go to school! If you're looking at a personable and flexible solution to upgrading your education, then I highly recommend applying. They are a brilliant place to work for as well - the culture is collaborative and supportive and if you're interested in movement within the org, there's plenty of places to go!
I took accounting and payroll, the program was good, instructors were great, I did not find a job in that field, but that’s not CTS’s fault it’s the job market in North bay, I’ve returned to further my education in accounting at the university level, should land me a job :
If you are interested in the Mental Health and Addictions course, please, please, consider going to a different college. The diploma is not recognized by many employers. The credits are not transferable to other colleges. I can't speak on the other programs but for sure, this one is not legit.
I't’s a good college having good placement. Academics are well structured. Teachers are professional .
This college was great; I have attended two separate courses and gained valuable knowledge and skills from each one.
If you want to jump through hoop after hoop and get throwen around and not cared about by any of the staff expect maybe the recipients then go to this school. Also very little jobs will hire you if you go to this school, As alot of jobs don't see this as a recognized college they say they are for the students but they're not you apply for OSAP and you don't get approved until half way tthroughthrough your course or not at all and it's a school to speed up what you want it do and online but go to any other college but this one. Also if you step out of class for a second or don't respond in a very fast manner teacher will kick you out of class and you have to pay $50 if you miss or fail an exam or for my course PSW if you miss a day of placement you have to pay $50 dollars a day I dropped out and am going to Canador college to finish my course
Amazing teachers and staff. Small classes so you can have the time to get help if needed and also ask questions. I took police foundations and found most of the classes interesting and informative. They don't mention that it isn't needed to work as an officer. It is very expensive as well, and now that I moved before finishing I have no way to complete the program unless I move back to NB or Barrie or one other place. One teacher in particular went above and beyond for me. He really helped me more than he will ever understand.
Really enjoyed the Medical Office program! Really happy I did it, thanks CTS
