Affordable, facility clean and climate control area is well controlled. Otherwise, there seems to be a problem on the management side. Gate and loading bay door have been broken for over a month with no obvious attempts to fix. Code entry box to get to the second floor has been broken for over a month as well. It's a holiday weekend but I came out here at 1600 on Friday and there were no staff on site. No sign in the window saying that they would be gone early or even that the office would be closed that day. Haven't seen a dolly/cart in two days.

The staff is friendly and helpful, however this company needs to update their website to pay online. I have been coming to this location for 2 weeks during operation hours and no one is there. Now they send late notices and try to charge you but don’t have things in place to pay. Been here for some time and have been making the same complaint.

I like the place is always clean.. but every time I go there no one is in the office I have been trying to pay on my unit since 8/10/2023 and I pay by check it's hard to pay when there is no body in the office..the bay door is still out due to a broken spring and is outfox months at a time when someone hits the door..and the gate has been disabled for over a month..we hate to have to move our stuff somewhere else it is so convenient because it is close to home for us and Danni has been the best manager there..

EDIT: I have called you guys at least 7x and sat on the phone with you 40+ min each time and told the same stuff and somehow my account was never closed and you guys keep charging me. I requested my account to be closed within the first two weeks that i couldn't get access to my unit.  These people should be reported to the BBB. I paid for a storage unit. Went everyday for a week after paying during office hours to gain entry to my unit and buy a lock. Nobody was ever in the office during their office hours. Yes I tired multiple times a day. Tried to call. Finally when I needed to move and access to the storage unit, what do you know... nobody in the office. Tried 5x that day, no luck. Had to go to a different place and get a different unit. I've been on the phone with their customer service multiple times for 45+ min each time. I'm trying to cancel and get my money back, since I never received access to the unit. They tell me my account is closed I'll get my refund within 72 hours and a phone call everytime. 3 weeks later, no refund and I'm charged another almost 300 dollars. I thought you guys told me my account was canceled? Do yourself a favor and get storage someplace else. I wouldn't rent from them if I was offered 6months free. They are scam artists that just steal your money. You guys should be shut down and ashamed of yourself. I already reported you to my bank, and yes I WILL take further action.

Dannie has done an amazing job working with my family and keeping us up to date on any changes or facility policies.  We value her commitment to the costumer and position of support for iStorage.  Thanks for all you do.

Just left iStorage in Oak Forest, Dannie property manager was amazing. She showed me my storage unit, and she explained how to access the overhead door this way my vehicle doesn’t get damaged. Dannie was very helpful, this location is clean and unit is what I was looking for will definitely recommend this location.

Absolutely TRASH ! DO NOT GET A UNIT HERE! Every single time I come here there is no worker present. One day I waited hours still no worker. Call customer care waited 72 hours no call back. This place has trash for management.

My experience with iStorage has been positive so far. Dahnie was thorough and knowlesgable. I look forward to having a continued positive relationship as I utilize these services.

4/2023- ONLINE CHAT, phone customer service, EMAIL- ALL REFUSE TO HELP. I CALL THE REGIONAL MANAGER ADAM AND IT GOES TO VOICEMAIL WITH NO CALL BACKS. I HAVE ALL DOCUMENTS PROVING THEY OWE 143.60 but they sent a check after 7 months of fighting for 60$!!  3/2023- STILL NO PAYMENT OF MONEY OWED TO ME! The REGIONAL MANAGERS LIE AND STATE A CHECK HAS BEEN MAILED This is the 3rd regional manager I've gone through THIS TIME I DID INFACT GET A CHECK, BUT FOR 60$, NOT THE 143.60 that is owed to me and was guaranteed to be sent by ADAM , THE REGIONAL MANAGER WHO NOW WILL NOT ANSWER MESSAGES BACK!!!!!!  9/2022- I have been trying to get ahold of Istorage Oak Forest. I cannot get anyone to answer the phone, email, or text. I have contacted the BBB in hopes to get a response. They have stolen money from me that was owed due to a credit from an overpayment. I have the documents showing they took the money from the credit but they just tell me to disregard that. I can’t get any response to get this handled no matter how many voicemails I leave. I am owed 143.60$ from an overpayment they refuse to give me back.  Update 11/15/22- still no contact from anyone. Emails, texts, calls, and voicemails get ignored. I will get told they will contact me and no one ever does.

First time here and highly recommend the place and the customer service! Sabrina McaGahee took the time to explain everything with the storage unit, rules etc. We also rented a truck from Penske and picked it up and dropped it off here. So convenient, smooth and reasonable prices. Easy access to the building, elevator to third floor, nice storage, clean etc. Just what I needed. Happy we chose this place above others and will be recommending it to others. Thanks!
