not the best experience, went in there today to pick up my niece birthday cake that my sister had ordered tuesday. She ordered a number 6 in the shape of a cake but when i went to pick it up, it was just a 6 inch 1 tier blue cake. No decorations nor in the shape of a 6 . She also went back in there earlier this week to make sure they spell her name right and the man still had to correct it. He stated that she in fact didn’t tell him to make it into a 6 and wasn’t apologetic at all. He basically stated that it wasn’t his problem. 1/10
We love this place. The cupcakes compare to no OTHERS! You can't pick a favorite. We travel from another town. GO ENJOY, you'll thank me later.
They have great cupcakes. We actually had cupcakes made for our wedding here. I would give it 5 stars, but we went by at 5pm on a Saturday says they close at 6 pm and they turned the light off as we stood at the door. :
The guy behind the register is pretty rude and short. He wears glasses and has dark hair. I couldnt see where he got the cupcakes from when he went in the back. He also wasnt wearing any gloves when he came back, and I didnt hear any water running to see if he was washing his hands. My brother wanted a milkshake but he said it was broken with an attitude like he just wanted us out. He also touched around his nostril while dealing with the icecream. Didnt even tell us to have a good day or anything.
Went by at 4:25 pm on 7/24. Sign says they are open till 6 pm on Saturdays. Google says they are open till 6 pm on Saturdays. The business is dark and the sign on the door says “Closed. Come back later.” Well no Ma’am. I won’t be back. Terrible since I traveled 25 miles one way to order a cake for a special occasion.
I just recently went to Cupcake Dream for my wife's birthday Cupcakes! These are the most amazing cupcakes I have ever eaten in my entire life! The cupcake itself was soft and very delicious while the icing was just the right amount of sweet. She has all different flavors that very well complement their names. The few we tried were caramel, chocolate, cookies and cream, lemon, lime. She also made a custom cupcake strawberry short cake that we requested, and that was phenomenal! Dindy is a very sweet person and she will serve you cupcakes with a smile!
I went in to order a cake and they told me couldn’t place any order because they will be to busy on that day. Last time I went in to order a cake they told me the same thing. why would you own a cake store in not take orders!
These people really need to update their hours, on both google and their door. It says they close at 6 Tuesday-Saturday. We got there at 5:10pm on Tuesday and the door was locked with the closed sign and all of the lights were on, and the employees just looked at us and turned around. I’ll never go there again even if there stuff is good.
Update: They ended up fixing the problem and making the cake in time for my son’s birthday! They apologized for the lack of communication. I not only purchased the cake I also purchased some additional cupcakes! Everything was delicious! Thank you and I firmly believe the issue won’t happen again! I’m so disappointed! They totally dropped the ball for my son’s 1st birthday, a day I will not get back! I ordered this cake last Wednesday. I had to call them 3 times and left voicemails no response, pop up yesterday since they can’t return calls they closed 2 hrs early, and Facebook message them since no other communication seemed to reach them I mean because what business actually use telephones right? Only for them to tell me, they will let me know today whether they can have my cake made by Wednesday!?! Now due to the storm I understand things happen but not communicating with customers is poor service because had I not made repeated attempts to contact them I wouldn’t know anything even tho it is still too late to order anything else!
The cupcake were okay but they need to invest in a refrigerator to keep cupcakes in to sell. Having them sit on the counter out in the air, if you come in at 3 or 4 they are going to be dried out and have germs on them. If you dont get their when they open they will not be fresh. This is just a suggestion because all bakerys I go to sit it in a refrigerator or a closed space where air cannot get to them. I beleive the cupcakes are good but the batch I got was hard and dried out by 4pm.
