Great business. Super friendly! Down to earth good folks! Great meat selection! Try the sausages! If you come in October you must go to their Octoberfest! Great musicpicture, delicious food and drinks!

Great family owned store. Best selection of steaks, pork, brats, ect... Prices are equal to other stores but Curds has better quality meats. Owners are extremely friendly. If you are grilling in the Lake of Egypt area. Stop at Curds and get your steaks.

Very charming and hospitable hosts, Lee and Annie. Had a great time visiting the animals and general store. We purchased a variety of meats and sausages. All meat is from Curds or from Local. And quality !!!! If you are visiting SOIL make sure you stop at Curds. They are incredible

We we’re passing by and ate at some restaurant that I forgot the name of but our waitress was THE BEST and she told us about her family spot down the street so we decided to go and check it out and IM SO HAPPY WE DID !! Sweetest family ever ! So welcoming and had the best homemade spicy tomato mix she made herself! And she also let us try her homemade pickles she made herself and they were the I best ever tasted! We will Definitely be back!!

We are so glad we stumbled about this hidden gem. Annie was wonderful and the kids loved feeding the animals, eating all of Annie’s amazing desserts, and picking up some additional snacks for the lake house. The amount of farm fresh meats available really set this place apart though. Bring your cooler and fill up for the week or even month.

this is an amazing place to go to ! they’re all so sweet and they have amazing peppers and meat and even little drinks ! she makes almost everything HOMEMADE and everything is picked from their garden !!! i can’t wait to go home and eat the salsa we’re going to make !! not to mention their cute animals your kids will love to pet and feed them !

Everyone was so sweet and so nice! Very welcoming place!!! Amazing homemade salsa and homemade pickles. Grow their own veggies. Overall great experience with the people and the animals. Can’t wait to go back

This was the the most friendly general store ever. The have farm animals you can pet and feed. Hands down the best place to go for fresh beef,goat,lamb,and pig meat. Lee even helped me fix my tailpipe that was hanging by a wire. You have to visit for the experience yourself

We took the little ones in the family to see all the animals and to shop their selection of meat and other locally sold items. Curd's general store is ran by good people who actually care about giving real value to those who buy from them. It is where we will shop for all our meat needs from now on.
