Dr Curtiss and his staff are great…Very friendly! Dr Curtiss is thorough and does great work. He is very gentle. Gwyn is a wonderful assistant. And Patsy is such a delight on the phone and in person! But all who work there are very nice!! Wish I had found them years ago.
Dr. Curtiss Dentistry and the whole staff is the best around. My parents started going to Dr. Curtiss years ago and told me about him. Patsy, Sandy, Sheila and Dr. Curtiss have taken great care of me and I highly recommend anyone looking to see them for all of their Dental Care!
Dr. Curtiss is by far the BEST dentist I’ve ever had the pleasure of going to. My bite has always been perfect never had any trouble after a procedure, I’ve always recommended him. Now I’m having to find another dentist, unfortunately due to his front office staff, mainly the blond lady who works the front Dr at check in, I believe her name is Patsy. I’ve had a very painful situation in my mouth that another doctor prescribed medication for and recommended my dentist look at. He did and as it’s healing, the pain isn’t going away. I live around 45 minutes away so as I’m going to be in town and I know if I need anything like this medicated rinse I’ve read about that only a doctor can prescribe, he will want to see me. So I go into the office and 2 cars are in the parking lot, but patsy tells me he can’t see me. Not even for 2 minutes I ask? No. She asked if I can come back tomorrow at 1120. Knowing I’ve been in this pain for awhile now because I had an appointment last week, she remembered, but is unwilling to even go ask the doctor, she just told me that he is completely slammed all day and I will have to come back tomorrow. This is in my opinion an emergency that needed to be addressed right then. I was there in the office and she was all about the control. I was and am in so much pain that could have been handled with much more care, compassion and empathy, but unfortunately for me and this office they have none. So go for fillings, cleanings but hopefully no emergency situations. I know I never will again. Lesson learned the hard way. Actions speak louder than words.
I have been going to Curtis dentistry for over 35 years and I have never had a bad experience though. People are so personable and and so helpful in well they’re just wonderful.
Staff is always friendly. My whole family goes there and loves it. Definitely recommend Curtiss Dentistry.

Went in today for a consultation after a recommendation from a co worker and boy, was she right! They were absolutely wonderful! I have a severe dentist phobia- but they put me at ease and treated me so good. They went over a plan with me to get me back to where I need and want to be. Dr. Curtiss was very thorough and I plan on continuing my visits based on his recommendations. Thank you Dr Curtiss and All you staff for treating me so well and for helping me!! Jennifer Brackett
Best in Blount County!! Five star dentistry all the way. Sheila dental tech is wonderful as are all the people in this office. Highly recommend.
I have went to Dr. Curtiss my entire life and trust him and his employees. He is dedicated to his patients and goes above and beyond for them.
